Time marches on, and the ESEA competitions show no signs of slowing down. Among the teams reaching the halfway point of the regular season are Saturlity Esport, who compete in the Intermediate division. Unfortunately, their start to the season was far from ideal. As we mentioned in our previous article, their start to the competition was not a successful one. Admittedly, their record has improved slightly since then, but it still leaves a lot to be desired. After seven matches – exactly halfway through the first phase of the season – the team boasts an “impressive” record of 2–5. Will they still manage to make up for lost ground and fight for a place in the play-offs?
A brief flash of brilliance from Saturlity Esport, but the curse has returned with a vengeance

Although the match might have looked easy based on the score and the standard of the opposition, it was anything but. The first half was exceptionally even, as best reflected by the 6–6 score. It was only after the break that Saturlity managed to build a clearer lead, which they maintained until the end, winning the entire match. Kaalz deserves a special mention, finishing the match with an impressive tally of 25 kills and just 12 deaths. It is also worth mentioning Juicy_0, who, despite finishing the match with a negative K/D ratio – securing 10 kills whilst dying 14 times – provided excellent support for the team with his grenades, successfully blinding as many as 27 opponents.

The second of today’s matches was definitely one of the tougher ones. Saturlity’s opponents dominated the clash in almost every aspect of the game. Despite their best efforts, the team managed to snatch just three rounds in the entire match. And by the first half, they were already trailing their opponents by as many as six rounds. Unfortunately, the situation did not improve after the break. Saturlity failed to win a single round and ultimately succumbed to their opponents with a devastating score of 3:13. With such a one-sided result, there is little to say about any positive statistics. But although they are not particularly impressive, Kaalz deserves a mention once again, finishing the match with 12 kills and 13 deaths; in this case, however, he too failed to come out on top. Juicy_0 once again stood out in the grenade department, successfully blinding 10 opponents, though he ‘hit’ his allies just as many times.

The last of today’s matches, given the calibre of the opponents, looked set to be tougher than the previous clash with the Portuguese. Surprisingly, Saturlity started the match better, but the quality advantage lay with their opponents. Despite a spirited fight, 5DEMON ended the first half leading 4:8. After the sides switched, the opponents continued to control the game. Although Saturlity managed to pick up two more rounds, they were unable to turn the match around, which ended with a score of 6:13. As for the statistics, Faboudin was the team’s top performer in terms of eliminations this time; despite the defeat, he came out on top, securing 17 frags and dying 16 times. When it came to flashbangs, Juicy_0 once again stood out, successfully blinding 11 opponents. Kaalz was not far behind, though in his case more flashes hit his teammates than his opponents.
It’s only halfway through the season – what lies ahead for Saturlity?
Although Saturlity Esport’s record at the halfway point of the season does not inspire optimism, the team still has time to turn their fortunes around. They have three more matches ahead of them, which could decide whether they return to the fight for the play-offs. Today at 8 pm they face :fi: RajutKundit, and on Thursday 14 August, also at the same time, they take on :de: Rheinkirmes. We’ll have to wait a little longer for the final scheduled match, as it won’t take place until 2 September at 12:00, when Saturlity will host 🇫🇷 Five NoName. Will the second half of the season prove better than the first?
