Once again, we’re bringing you a ‘feature’ from abroad. This time, it’s the Saturlity Esport team, which competes in the ESEA Intermediate league. Saturlity has several rosters; today, we’ll be focusing on the one made up mostly of French players. Unfortunately, after four matches, we have to conclude that things aren’t going well for the French team, to say the least.

A false start

Although Saturlity began their campaign this season with a 13–11 victory over MaybeNoSplit on Dust II, they were not quite as effective in the subsequent rounds. In the second round, they faced ZERANCE, whose players are also from France. Like the first match, this fixture was played on Dust II. Unfortunately, our partners lost the match 9–13.

On an individual level, “Walouf_” from our partner’s team really shone. Twenty-six eliminations, with 13 deaths, giving him a KD of exactly 2.00. Unfortunately, this wasn’t enough to see the match go to at least extra time. Here are the statistics for all players from this match:

Match against the Ukrainian team

In the third round, our partner faced off against POVYDLO Esports. As in the previous two matches, this one was also played on Dust II. Unfortunately, just like the second match on Dust, this one proved impossible to win. At half-time, Saturlity were trailing 9–3. They were unable to close the gap in the second half, and our partner have now lost their second match in a row, this time winning just 8 rounds.

The 9-round curse?

Last Thursday, they faced off against Infernal Void. A team from Germany who had a 2-1 record going into the match. For a change, this match was played on… Dust II. Just like on previous Dust maps, the Saturlites were playing catch-up; the score was 5-7 at half-time. Unfortunately, in the second half, they were unable to catch up with their opponents, who ultimately won 13–9.

After four matches, our partner has a record of 1-3 and, unfortunately, things aren’t looking too good at the moment. Their next matches are on Monday at 8.00 pm. They’ll be taking on DIRECTORs Team, who are from Ukraine and also have a 1-3 record. Saturlita’s next opponent is Five NoName, but the match date is listed as 2 September – this is probably a bug.
