Visionary bids farewell to Alek ‘Tapek’ Korzeniowski

It’s difficult to write messages like this, especially as we were so pleased just a short while ago to be starting our collaboration with the Visionary team. It was only on 3 November that we announced a partnership which was set to bring new opportunities and positive energy. Unfortunately, just a week later, we had to share some sad news. Aleksander “Tapek” Korzeniowski, who has been the team’s marksman for the past year, is leaving the team.

“Tapek” joined Visionary at the start of January. Since then, he has gone through many stages of development with the team. The team changed its line-ups and tried out various approaches, but he was always part of it. Together, they competed in the ESEA league, ARRMY tournaments, as well as numerous smaller events that helped build team chemistry and experience.

Over these months, the player repeatedly saved rounds, secured crucial kills and became one of the team’s cornerstones. That is why the decision to part ways did not come easily to him or the rest of the team. However, sometimes even well-functioning teams need to take a step back and choose the paths that will best facilitate their development.

The Visionary team emphasises that this parting of ways is taking place with the utmost respect. Both sides are parting on good terms, without any hard feelings or misunderstandings. Each of them knows just how much the other has contributed to the team. The team thanks “Tapk” for his commitment, professionalism and the passion he put into every match.

Of course, such a change in the middle of the season is quite a challenge. ESEA and ARRMY are not standing still, and matches are taking place regularly. The new player will have to settle into the team quickly, adapt to its style and take responsibility for the result.

At the moment, Visionary isn’t revealing the name of the fifth player. The team is considering various options and wants to make a decision calmly, without rushing. We do know, however, that the role of marksman will be taken on by “myszor”, who has previously shown great potential and has been able to catch opponents off guard at crucial moments. This is a new chapter for him, but also an opportunity for growth and even greater responsibility within the team structure.

Partings are never easy, especially when they involve people who have played an important role in the team’s history. “Tapek” was part of Visionary for nearly a year, and his contribution to the team’s development will be remembered. Although the player’s and the team’s paths are now parting ways, both sides are looking to the future with hope.

Visionary has a lot of work ahead, with new matches and more excitement to come. The team must find a new rhythm and rebuild stability following these squad changes. Despite everything, they show determination and a belief that this is another step forward in their development, rather than a step backwards.
