Superion Gaming with a new squad! A transfer rollercoaster at the start of April

- -

Although the calendar still read 1 April yesterday, and the internet was traditionally flooded with jokes and ‘fake’ announcements, this time the underground scene decided to play… quite seriously. This isn’t an April Fool’s joke; it’s a genuine transfer earthquake. In just two days, we’ve received more concrete details than in the final weeks of March. As recently as Tuesday, we posted a summary of changes at Panico eSports and NPK for you, focusing on the moves from the previous week. Today we’re returning to the topic, but with a whole new load of information… After all, a great deal has happened since then. However, Superion Gaming will play the leading role here with its new line-up. New faces, completed projects and concrete moves… Let’s dive into the latest edition of the “transfer window”.

PEST Esport: A New Chapter

PEST Esport is officially back in the game with a revamped squad, set to compete in ESEA Entry this season. The organisation has opted for a rather thoughtful approach. Instead of a complete overhaul, they’ve built on a solid foundation, supplemented with new faces. It’s a move that often strikes the best balance between stability and development.

Players known from the project’s previous incarnation are returning to the team. We’re talking about Ferk, DzikiPikachu and Pixo. These are players who already share a history together, which in practice can mean one thing… A quicker transition to the right level of communication and understanding in-game. In the world of CS2, where details and timing play a huge role, such chemistry can make a difference right from the very first matches.

The return of the “old guard” also carries a certain narrative. After all, these are often players who want to prove something, both to themselves and to the community. Unfinished projects, untapped potential, or simply the desire to get back on track. All of this could serve as additional fuel for this trio.

Two new players are joining the familiar core. More specifically, they are Zaberka and Banana_Dance. The organisation describes them as “young guns”, suggesting that we may be dealing with players hungry for action and ready to seize their opportunity. Transfers of this kind often bring not only fresh energy but also unpredictability, which can catch more experienced rivals off guard.

It is also worth noting the direction in which the squad is being built. PEST is not going for a full stack of stars, but rather focusing on development and potential. This may mean that the organisation is aiming for a long-term project rather than a one-off ‘shot’ at results.

The whole thing looks like an interesting mix of experience and youth which, if put together well, could yield some really solid results. In ESEA Entry, the competition never sleeps, but it is precisely such line-ups that can often cause the biggest stir and surprise at the least expected moment.

Panico eSports adds further pieces

Panico eSports is not slowing down and is consistently continuing to rebuild its squad. Following earlier moves, the organisation is adding further pieces to the puzzle. This time, it is focusing on two players who are expected to bring not only individual skills to the team, but above all structure and a new quality to team play.

The first of these is Saj, a player from North Macedonia. His transfer was heralded as an injection of “new energy”, and this description seems particularly apt here. Moves of this kind are often aimed at revitalising a team in need of a fresh impetus, both mentally and in terms of pure gameplay. A new player brings a fresh perspective on the game, different decisions at crucial moments, and often greater courage in taking risks.

However, the international nature of the squad is not all positive. Language and cultural differences may initially affect communication. Yet, if properly managed, they can turn into a huge asset.

An even bigger and more strategic move appears to be the signing of Drenger from Norway, who will take on the role of IGL. In CS2, the IGL role is absolutely crucial, particularly in teams undergoing a rebuild. The organisation itself emphasises that this is a role they have needed “for a long time”, which only confirms just how high the expectations are for this transfer. Drengr is not only set to lead the team during matches but also to help build a gameplay system that will allow Panico to perform more consistently throughout matches and tournaments.

The combination of fresh blood in the form of Saj with a clear leader, as Drengr is expected to be, could prove crucial for the team’s future. If everything ‘clicks’, Panico has a real chance of finally moving beyond a phase of constant changes and reaching a level of consistent, solid results.

NPK finalises its squad and expands its support structure

NPK Esport is not lagging behind either and has officially finalised its squad for the upcoming season, adding the final, crucial piece of the puzzle. bZ4k is joining the team to take on the role of sniper, one of the most influential positions in the squad.

The role of the AWP player in CS2 is much more than just “fragging from a distance”. It is often the player who controls the pace of the game, opens rounds and gives their team an advantage right from the start. A good sniper can cut off access to parts of the map, force specific decisions on the opponent and introduce an element of uncertainty into every round. If bZ4k finds his feet in this role and gets into the right rhythm, he could very quickly become one of the key pillars of the entire project. Finalising the squad also means the end of experimentation and the start of real-world testing. Now everything moves to the server, where theory must translate into results.

However, this is not the end of the organisation’s moves. Alongside the announcement of the latest player, NPK also announced the addition of Slajdz1k in the role of Content Creator. This is a clear signal that the project is developing not only in sporting terms, but also in terms of its image.

If they manage to combine a stable squad with an active media presence, the organisation can not only improve its results but also make its presence on the scene clearly felt.

Superion Gaming begins a new chapter

The biggest announcement of recent days is undoubtedly Superion Gaming’s new line-up. The organisation has decided on a clean slate and to start a completely new chapter, unveiling its five-man squad on 1 April. And although the date might have suggested a joke, it quickly became clear that this was one of the most significant moves of the week.

The line-up consists of: Vanta, Kyoori, gekyume, be_gone and rosemary. At first glance, this is not a line-up that screams “ready-made top-tier squad”, but that may well be its greatest strength. The absence of obvious names and established patterns means there is scope to build something from scratch… Their own style, identity and gameplay system.

It is also worth noting the organisation’s own statement: “this is just the beginning”. This phrase is not used by chance. It suggests that Superion Gaming has a clear vision and a plan for the project’s development that goes beyond simply announcing a squad of five players. It is possible that we will see further moves in the near future. Whether this be within the coaching staff or in terms of the development of the entire structure.

A new squad is always a mix of excitement and uncertainty. The first matches will show which direction this project takes, but one thing is certain: Superion Gaming is entering a new phase with a clean slate and plenty of scope to build something of its own.

If everything clicks into place sooner than expected, Superion could not only become one of the most intriguing stories of the season, but also really shake things up on the scene and make its presence felt more strongly than many might assume.

The transfer avalanche is only just gathering pace

The start of April shows one thing… The underground scene isn’t slowing down for a moment, and teams are increasingly revealing their hand ahead of the upcoming season. In just two days, we’ve seen full squads, key transfers and the first signs of who really wants to fight for something more this season. PEST is back with renewed energy, Panico is seeking stability and direction, NPK is wrapping up its project and developing its infrastructure. Meanwhile, Superion Gaming is opening a completely new chapter. If this is just the beginning, the coming weeks could bring even more moves. Where the “transfer window” will quickly become one of the hottest topics on the scene.
