The qualifiers for the third season of the Ascent Legacy Series are slowly drawing to a close, and the excitement is only growing. The play-offs are just around the corner, and every team is fighting to secure a place amongst the best. Amongst those who have made it through is VoFoxen Rising. The Green Side of Fox Power have secured their place in the decisive stage of the competition. A confident step towards qualification
VoFoxen Rising 13:5 NPK II | Ancient
VoFoxen got their qualifiers off to a flying start. On the Ancient map, they demonstrated complete control and imposed their style of play from the outset, giving their opponents little chance. Their teamwork and a consistently executed game plan meant their opponents never had a chance to find their rhythm. The 13:5 scoreline speaks for itself… It was a convincing victory and a solid start to the competition.
VoFoxen Rising 13–8 Blackmonkeyk
The second clash proved more challenging. Blackmonkeyk made life difficult at times and fought their way back into the match on several occasions, but VoFoxen Rising managed to keep their cool at crucial moments. In the closing stages, it was their experience and better organisation that sealed a 13–8 victory. Thanks to this triumph, the team secured a place in the upper bracket final of their group, which also guaranteed their progression to the play-offs.
VoFoxen Rising 0–2 Do Chrzanu Esport
The match against Do Chrzanu Esport no longer affected the Foxes’ qualification, but it was crucial in terms of their seeding for the next stage of the tournament. Both teams therefore had something to play for, with the contest centring on securing a better starting position in the play-offs.
7:13 | Mirage
On the first map, it was the opponents who set the pace and found their rhythm more quickly. The green-clad VoFoxen tried to respond and looked for opportunities to break through, but Do Chrzanu’s dominance was evident for most of the match. Ultimately, they closed out Mirage with a score of 7:13.
9:13 | Nuke
The second map was a more evenly matched affair and provided more excitement. VoFoxen Rising managed at times to keep the pressure on and stay close on the scoreboard, but in the decisive moments, their opponents’ greater consistency made the difference. Nuke ended with a score of 9:13, and Do Chrzanu Esport took the series.
Qualifiers summary
Despite their defeat against Do Chrzanu Esport, VoFoxen Rising can consider their qualifiers for the third season of the Ascent Legacy Series a success. Two convincing wins at the start of the competition allowed them to secure a place in the upper bracket final and thus guarantee their place in the play-offs. The seeding match didn’t go their way, but the team proved they can hold their own even against tough opponents.
The “Fox Power” gave fans plenty of reasons to celebrate, and the real challenge still lies ahead. Now, the Fox Academy will compete in the decisive phase of the tournament, where every match could determine their fate.
