It’s time to catch up on news from our sole F1 partner – the World League of Players, of course. Our first topic will be the 2025 Summer Challenge Event, for which registration opened quite recently, on 8 June. All it takes for the league to get underway is 10 registered players, and places and teams are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, meaning that those who sign up first will get the better teams. Once you’ve signed up for the league, you’ll be given a rank on the WLOP Discord server, so we encourage you to join before signing up. From the registration form itself, you can see that F1 isn’t the only game we’ll be seeing during the Summer Challenge. Titles on offer include EA WRC, DIRT 2.0, F1 25, Minecraft, ETS2 (convoys), EA Sports FC 25, F1 2024, Dirt 4 and F1 2021.

We’ve announced the champion of Season 6 – Split 2
On 11 June, we found out who the champion of Season #6, Split 2, was. It was Adrian Szoch – congratulations!
Adrian Szoch drove for the Mercedes team and secured the championship with 255 points.
The Constructors’ Championship was also won by the Mercedes team – congratulations to Szoch and Jakub “808poland” Sierszchuła.
As well as congratulating them on taking first place in their respective classifications, we’d also like to express our thanks for organising the league.

New faces in the organisation
Following the conclusion of Split Two of Season Six, Patryk “Janusheeek” Jakubasz, who served as a moderator within the WLOP structure, has brought his time with the World League of Players to a close. From what we can gather from the announcement on Discord, thanks to the years he spent in this organisation, he has earned legendary status. Janusheeek worked mainly during the first split.
The same announcement mentions his successor: Szymon “Simarino54” Goś, who became a moderator for Split One.
No moderator has left since the second split, but one new one has joined. “el_michael” is the new moderator for Split Two. Simarino54 will help him settle into the WLOP structure. Although Simarino54 hasn’t been a moderator for long, he has previously helped organise the league.
