Avalanche.gg is reshuffling its CS2 squad once again. There are also changes at NPK Esport and Superion Gaming

- -

It is no secret that the Polish underground scene is no stranger to organisational changes and personnel reshuffles. The last few days have seen player transfers, farewells to existing players, and initiatives aimed at the further development of projects within the scene. Our partners are once again demonstrating that, despite the start of the summer break, work surrounding the teams continues virtually non-stop. The biggest changes were announced by Avalanche.gg, which has decided to reshuffle part of its squad. The organisation has parted ways with two players.

At the same time, it has introduced new players to strengthen the team ahead of the upcoming season. There have also been squad changes at NPK Esports, where one player has left the team. This is yet another example of how many teams are still seeking the best possible line-up ahead of the upcoming tournaments and leagues. There has also been news regarding organisational development. Superion Gaming has announced that it is looking for someone to help boost the organisation’s activity and improve communication regarding its projects. Everything seems to indicate, therefore, that the coming weeks may bring further significant changes.

Avalanche.gg is restructuring its CS2 squad

Of the organisations discussed today, Avalanche.gg announced the most changes. The team has decided to part ways with two players, DormiZ and shiz1k. As stated in the official announcement, DormiZ played as the sniper, whilst shiz1k was the anchor. The organisation thanked both players for their contribution to the team’s development and wished them the best of luck in their future careers.

However, the changes were not limited to farewells. Avalanche.gg very quickly introduced the new players who are set to join the squad ahead of the upcoming season.

Smawi and Borbas have joined the team. The former is set to take over the anchor role from shiz1k. Borbas, meanwhile, will take on the role of the team’s main marksman. The organisation has thus opted for a fairly straightforward swap of roles, whilst retaining the team’s existing structure.

Such moves may suggest that Avalanche.gg wants to stabilise the line-up as quickly as possible and prepare for upcoming tournaments without a lengthy rebuilding period. The question of how the new players will gel with the rest of the team looks particularly interesting. This is because changing both the marksman and the anchor can have a significant impact on how the team performs during official matches.

At this stage, the organisation has not revealed its exact plans for the upcoming competitions. However, the new signings show that Avalanche.gg still intends to actively develop its project and strive for ever-better results.

Kayak leaves NPK Esport

There have also been squad changes at NPK Esport. The organisation announced via social media that Kayak is no longer part of the Counter-Strike 2 squad. In a brief statement, they thanked the player for his time with the team and wished him the best of luck and success in his future career.

Although the details of the split have not been disclosed, the departure of yet another player may signal the start of more significant changes to the team’s structure. In recent months, NPK Esport has regularly featured in various tournaments, striving to build an increasingly strong position on the scene. Any personnel changes could therefore have a significant impact on the project’s future development.

At present, the organisation has not yet announced a successor to Kayak, nor has it indicated whether trials are being conducted with new players. It is possible, however, that the coming weeks will bring further announcements regarding the squad reshuffle. The off-season is very often used for experimentation and to find a line-up that will allow teams to reach the next level.

It is also worth noting that many organisations on the Polish CS2 scene are increasingly opting to react swiftly following poor results or issues with squad stability. Kayak’s departure may therefore be part of a broader plan to build a new project – one that will enable NPK to compete more effectively against the leading underground teams in the future.

Superion Gaming is looking for a social media manager

Not all the news from recent days has directly concerned changes to player line-ups. Superion Gaming has also published an important announcement, stating that it is seeking a social media manager responsible for developing the organisation’s presence on social media.

In its post, the organisation emphasised that its reduced activity is not due to problems with its Counter-Strike 2 line-ups… but solely to staff shortages amongst those responsible for communications. Superion Gaming has openly admitted that it wants to improve its social media presence and needs an additional person to help run the project.

This is an increasingly common trend amongst esports organisations operating at the grassroots level. Even teams achieving good results often struggle to publish content, reports or graphics on a regular basis. This, unfortunately, makes it difficult to build a community around the team. That is precisely why many organisations are beginning to look for people responsible solely for marketing and communications.

The search for a social media manager may therefore be a sign that Superion Gaming is planning to develop its brand more strongly and increase activity around the project. For organisations operating in the underground scene, effective communication is becoming increasingly vital today. This is particularly true when it comes to attracting new partners and sponsors, and building recognition amongst fans of the scene.

The coming weeks may bring further shake-ups

Recent days have once again shown that the underground scene thrives not only on official tournaments but also on constant changes within organisations and line-ups. Avalanche.gg has decided to carry out a major team overhaul. NPK Esport has parted ways with one of its players. Meanwhile, Superion Gaming has focused on organisational development off-server.

There are many indications that these are not the last moves ahead of the next season. After all, the summer break very often becomes a time for trials, reshuffles and the search for new opportunities, both for players and for entire organisations. Teams are trying to use this time to improve their results, stabilise their line-ups and build structures that will allow them to function more effectively in the future.

For fans, however, this means one thing… The coming weeks may bring further transfers, new projects and more changes on the Polish CS2 scene. It will be particularly interesting to see how the new line-ups fare in their first official matches and whether the moves made will indeed prove to be a step in the right direction.
