TNK’s last season wasn’t their best. What’s the atmosphere like within your team now, following that season?

adekk: I agree, last season wasn’t one of our best, unfortunately. The atmosphere within the club is still very good; I’d even say it’s the best it’s been in all the years I can remember.

You’ve recently been recruiting new players. Do you believe these signings will help improve your game?

a: Of course, every new signing will bring something to the team; we hope they’ll improve our play.

Every season has its iconic moments. What memories will your team take away from this season?

Definitely the battle to avoid relegation – the most iconic moment of this season.

Your organisation has been around for a very long time. What is the secret to the project’s longevity?

First and foremost, a human approach to the team. Not everyone has time to play every day, so it’s worth listening to what people need.

What did you lack to compete for higher goals in the league?

Definitely a stable squad for this season. Many people left, and many also joined. The lack of a settled starting eleven determined our position in the table.

The Polish Cup is fast approaching. How do you rate your chances following the group draw?

Of course, we believe the draw for the Polish Cup will be favourable for us; we believe we’ll at least progress from the group stage.

Who are you most wary of following the draw?

Finally, I’d like to ask about your goals for the coming season. What do you want to achieve, and what do you consider realistic?

We’d like to secure promotion to a higher division, though we know that’s a long-term goal. As for realistic plans, definitely finishing the season in the top eight.
