The 12th season of Arrmy is now well and truly underway. Some teams are already halfway through the season and battling for a place in the play-offs, whilst others are fighting just to secure any wins at all. Cobra Team Main certainly belongs to the former group, whilst Cobra Team Academy falls into the latter.
Cobra Team Main’s recent matches in the Arrmy Open
In our last article on Cobra Team, we mentioned that the main squad had managed to start the season with a 2–0 record. Now, however, they’ve managed to extend that run. Their third match was due to be against WKEnjoyers, but they failed to turn up, so the win was credited to our partner’s record.
They weren’t so lucky in their fourth match and had to play against “Nie chce więcej CS2”. The pistol round went smoothly and Cobra took a 5–0 lead. The opponents fought back quickly, and with the score at 5–5, we knew this match was going to be a real battle. The first half ended, however, with our partner leading 7–5.
The second half brought even more excitement. It began with Cobra winning the second pistol round, extending their lead to 9–5. Despite this, they didn’t rest on their laurels and won the next two rounds, leaving them just two rounds short of victory. These didn’t come so easily, as the opposition attempted a comeback. Their unsuccessful effort saw the match end 13–9, with Cobra Team Main securing a 4–0 victory.

Cobra Team Academy’s latest matches at the Arrmy Open
Things aren’t looking too bright for the academy. Their first two matches ended in defeats and they’re now fighting for any kind of victory. On Saturday, they played a match against RRisk. That one didn’t go their way either, and they lost 4:13 without putting up much of a fight. Luck finally smiled on them yesterday, when they were due to face Nexus Nemezis; however, the latter failed to turn up for the match, and Cobra Team Academy added their first win to their rather poor record.
