Season 12 of Arrma kicked off about a week ago, and since then we’ve had plenty of updates on our partners’ matches in this league. Today we’ll be taking a closer look at both teams fielded by Cobra Team: Cobra Team AC and Cobra Team Main.
Cobra Team AC matches
Starting with the academy. They played their first match on Wednesday at 21:15 against the XDDE team on the de_anubis map. Our partner started on the defending side. The first round went to the opponents, and they got off to a good start, taking a 2:0 lead. After that, however, they had no intention of slowing down, and before we knew it, the score was already 7-0. Cobra tried to halt their opponents’ momentum, but they only won two rounds in the first half, which ended 10-2.
In the second half, team XDDE didn’t let up and, thanks to a second pistol round win, they took the score to 12-2. Akademia tried to fight back, but coming back from such a deficit would have been nothing short of a miracle, and that miracle didn’t happen here, even though they won five rounds in a row. The match ultimately went to XDDE with a score of 13:7.
However, this was not the end of the team’s adventures at the Army Open. They played their second match on Friday at 9 pm, this time on the de_inferno map. This match also did not start well for Cobra, as we again saw them lose the pistol round and fall behind 2-0 to their opponents, this time kącik32. The opponents had no intention of slowing down in this match either, and soon took a 4:0 lead. By the end of the half, the match was evenly balanced, with the first half ending 5–7.
In the second half, the Cobras lost the pistol round again, which put them in a difficult position from which they were unable to recover by the end of the match. The match ended in a 13-5 victory for kącik32. Thus, after two matches in the Arrmy Open, Cobra Team AC has a record of 0-2, and it does not look like it will be a successful season for them.
Cobra Team Main Match
The situation is quite the opposite for the main Cobra Team, which won its first and, so far, only match with a score of 13:0, so there is no point in describing it further. This team aims to compete for the highest goals, which are currently the Arrmy Open playoffs and a place in Arrmy Rising.
