YNG SKiLLZ and their journey in VPG Poland & Europe

YNG SKiLLZ announced a new player — RAMZES — quite recently, though we wrote about this a few days ago — in this article. Today, however, we’d like to focus on something that’s been less pleasant for YNG of late: the VPG Polska competition. Why less pleasant? YNG has always performed at least consistently in Polish competitions. This time, things are far from consistent, but we’re hoping for a so-called ‘comeback’ in the upcoming rounds. To put it quite briefly, our partner currently sits bottom of the VPG Polska first division. Admittedly, there are still teams that haven’t played their fourth round, but a team like YNG shouldn’t be looking to others for comfort.

Let’s move on to the results themselves, though — which, to put it bluntly, aren’t looking too good. First came a defeat, and a crushing one at that, against GSK Esport; about 25 minutes later, YNG were already playing their next match, against Impact Boys.
In this match, however, there were no positives — the scoreline was similar, but the opposition scored one goal fewer than in the match against GSK; Impact Boys won 4–0. YNG played both matches at home.

• 0–5 | GSK Esport (A)
• 0–4 | Impact Boys (H)

The day before yesterday at 8.40 pm, YNG SKiLLZ faced ‘Angry Wolves’, who managed to snatch a point. The match wasn’t exactly one of the most exciting, as it ended in a goalless draw. It is worth noting that YNG were playing away.
Having secured a single point, YNG went on to face the Cunning Foxes. Unfortunately, they returned with a 0–3 defeat.

• 0–0 | Angry Wolves (W)
• 0–3 | Cunning Foxes (W)

As we mentioned earlier — things aren’t looking too bright, especially as YNG won’t be facing just anyone in their upcoming matches. Although, who knows — perhaps they’ll perform better against stronger opponents? We’ll find out in a few days’ time.

We wish our partners the best of luck; they’ll certainly need it. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that they’ll break this losing streak.

The VPG Europe season has been underway for a while now. Our partner is in ‘Championship A’, where they’re currently seventeenth out of a possible twenty-four. They’ve had 8 wins, 3 draws and 10 defeats. Yesterday, they even managed to pick up 3 points from a single match.

At 9.45 pm, they hosted “Golden Spain” in an away match. Unfortunately, it didn’t go our partner’s way, although it was a close call – they lost 0–1.

A few dozen minutes later, they faced their Ukrainian rivals – CFC Dnipro. YNG won that match quite comfortably 3–0 and took three points back from Ukraine the day before yesterday.

• 0–1 | Golden Spain (A)
• 3–0 | CFC Dnipro (W)
