Constrict Gaming ogłasza zawodnika

Just under a month ago, on 13 June, our partner Constrict Gaming announced that it was looking for a fifth player for its squad, following Jan “janush” Mroziński’s departure from the main line-up. Janush represented Constrict for over four years, which, by esports standards, is an incredible achievement. Will Constrict’s new player last as long as Janush? We’d certainly wish them well, but whether that will be the case, we’ll find out in four years’ time. Exactly six days ago, Constrict unveiled their new signing: Igor “JKL” Mącznik, who has joined the ranks of our partner organisation. At the time of writing, the new player has already made his debut in a match against AntyDPM during the Galaxy Cup. To see JKL in his new colours more often, we’ll have to wait for the new ESEA season. In the previous season organised by ESEA, Constrict managed to secure promotion to ESEA Main, having previously played in ESEA Intermediate.

For Constrict, this will be their first season in the Main division; previously, they competed mainly in ESEA Intermediate, from which promotion proved difficult, but they eventually succeeded, and we’ll be able to watch their debut in the ESEA Main competition this coming Monday.

Returning, however, to the player himself, delving into his team history reveals teams such as CAPRI SUN, ANXIS and 442AGENTS. Don’t be misled by the names, which suggest so-called ‘mix’ teams; Constrict Gaming’s choice will certainly prove its worth soon. Besides, it’s not the CV that matters, but the skills.

JKL’s first match in his new colours proved to be a success. Constrict Gaming defeated AntyDpm 2–1 across the maps. Interestingly, the first map ended with a score of 13–0. Our partner demolished AntyDPM on Mirage, before suffering a defeat on Inferno with a score of 8–13. On the deciding map, they managed to win 13–6 (Train).

Congratulations on a successful debut – we look forward to more matches like this! You can find the current line-up and a history of line-up changes on the Constrict Gaming team profile on our website.
