DR Esports have reached the semi-finals of the Nasze Rewiry tournament. Among the matches DR Esports have played so far, there have also been encounters against our partners.
They kicked off the group stage with just such a match, in which DR Esports faced another of our partners – NSQ. The final score was 13–0, and no, that wasn’t a walkover. The entire match was played on Nuke, and NSQ didn’t win a single round.

After such a convincing victory, their confidence surely soared, as evidenced by the result of their next match. This time, the opponent was the “Advice” team, who were defeated by our partner 13–4. This match, too, was played entirely on Nuke.

The final match of the group stage. “Jagdgeschwader 52” were DR Esports’ final group opponents. And just as their name is difficult to pronounce, so too was the match a tough one for our partner. DR Esports tasted defeat, losing 8–13. The whole match took place on Dust II. Perhaps a third Nuke in a row would have proved victorious?

KNOC-OUT STAGE

Two wins and one defeat were more than enough to see DR Esports through to the knockout stage, meaning we got to watch them in action there. In the first round, they were due to face “yeet time”. Although ‘face off’ is perhaps too strong a term in this case, as the opponent didn’t turn up and our team won by walkover. In the quarter-finals, they were up against FC Sopliczanka. This time, the opponents did turn up, and the match went the full distance across all three maps.

We started with the Polish map — Mirage — which went to FC Sopliczanka; to be precise, they won 10–13. The next map was de_dust2. On this map, we saw a similar result, but the other way round — DR Esports won this map 13–9. The final map was Anubis. The losing team’s round count showed a downward trend, as on the first map the losing side managed to win just 10 rounds. On the second, 9, and on the third, 8. Fortunately, it wasn’t our partner. After winning 13–8 on Anubis, DR Esports took the best-of-three series 2–1 and advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament.

It is worth noting that the team is currently trialling new line-ups, and we have received ‘insider’ information that players such as ‘-Regiss_’, ‘Majste3r’ and ‘Marcelo7’ have progressed to the next stage.
