The Masters Division of the ArrMY league once again provided plenty of excitement. For the teams from our partner programme, however, it ended in great success. After all, two teams – Vandals Clan and Gloris eSports – secured their places in the LAN finals. These will, of course, take place at the Kinguin Lounge in Gdańsk. This is a huge achievement, given the high level of competition in this division. This is where the ten best teams from the entire competition will face off against each other. Both teams showed consistent form in the regular season and then proved their worth in the decisive playoff matches. Thanks to this, they have joined the group of four teams that will battle it out for the ultimate victory.
The road to the ArrMY Masters finals – a demanding system and crucial matches
Unlike the Open division, the Masters operates under far more demanding rules. Rules that reward consistency and stability of form throughout the entire season. The top ten teams take part in the regular season, where each plays as many as nine matches in a round-robin format. This means there is no room for chance… A single off day can cost dearly, and the final table is a true reflection of the teams’ standard. In such a demanding environment, preparation and the ability to adapt to opponents’ different styles become crucial.
The system for qualifying for the finals further raises the stakes. The top two teams after the regular season can rest easy, as they automatically secure a place in the finals. Teams in 3rd to 6th place, on the other hand, must go through an additional playoff phase. In this phase, opponents are matched based on their league positions. Thus, the team in 3rd place faces the team in 6th place, and the team in 4th place faces the team in 5th place. The winners of these matches join the top two, completing the final line-up. This is a stage where the pressure is immense, as a single series decides whether a team makes it to Gdańsk or not.
Gloris eSports finished the regular season in third place, which gave them a more favourable seeding and, in theory, an easier opponent. Vandals Clan finished in fifth place, making their path more challenging. However, they also avoided a direct clash with Gloris at this stage. In the promotion match, Gloris comfortably defeated Partyjniaki67 2-0. First, they controlled Mirage 13-8, then won an extremely close Nuke 16-14 after overtime. Vandals Clan, meanwhile, had to play a full BO3 against Armitra Esport. After losing 12-16 in overtime on Inferno, the team fought back and dominated their opponents. First on Mirage with a score of 13-6, then on Nuke 13-5, demonstrating great mental resilience and excellent adaptability throughout the series.
Our partners are showing their strength
The qualification of two teams from our partner programme for the LAN finals is a clear sign that the ArrMY initiative is having a tangible impact on the level of competition and the development of the teams. Both Vandals Clan and Gloris eSports have proven their worth, establishing themselves among the best teams of the season. Now they face their biggest test yet: the finals, which will take place on 9–10 May at the Kinguin Lounge in Gdańsk. Importantly, the event is open to all fans, and entry is free. That’s why anyone can turn up and experience the thrill of esports live, supporting their favourite teams. It promises to be a weekend full of intense competition, adrenaline and the battle for ultimate victory.
