Firewolf Clan have finished the halfway point of the 52nd ESEA Open10 season on a high note. They currently have a 5:3 record, with six matches still to come. Will they manage to finish the season with nothing but wins and secure promotion to a higher division, or will they slip up despite their strong record and find themselves playing in the Open division again next season?
Two wins for Firewolf Clan!
- Corpulents 11–13 Firewolf Clan, Ancient
After a very evenly matched game, it was ultimately Firewolf who came out on top. The Wolves faced considerable difficulties as early as the first half. Although they gave it their all and fought with determination, they had to concede their opponent’s superiority. By the end of the first half, the Wolves were trailing by as many as four rounds, which certainly took a heavy toll on their morale. However, despite the unfavourable 8:4 scoreline, the team did not give up.
After the sides switched ends, the Clan’s players managed to get back into the game. They significantly improved their performance, conceding only three rounds to their opponents. Ultimately, thanks to their determination and commitment, Firewolf Clan won the map with a score of 11:13. This magnificent comeback gave them a real boost and showed that they can fight right to the end. Now we can only hope that they will continue to play so well and achieve success in their upcoming matches.
- Firewolf Clan 19–16 Skyfall eSports, Inferno
The next match was even more thrilling than the previous one. Firewolf needed several overtime periods to settle the contest. Ultimately, however, the team managed to close out the map with a win. The Wolves clearly dominated the first half, winning it 8–4; the situation was similar in the previous match, though on that occasion they were on the losing side by the same score. Despite their solid lead, the second half proved to be much more fiercely contested and difficult. Unfortunately for the Fire Wolves Clan, they won only four rounds in this half, forcing them into extra time.
Both teams were under immense pressure, and any mistake could have had huge consequences. During the extra time, the Wolves failed to capitalise on their chances, and the battle was fierce. One period of extra time was not enough to settle the match. However, it was in the second extra round that the Firewolf Clan demonstrated their strength and secured a confident victory, scoring the crucial points to make the final score 19–16. In this match, the players provided plenty of excitement for the fans, and the fierce rivalry is sure to be remembered for a long time to come.

Barring any changes to the schedule, next week the Firewolf Clan will face the Ukrainian Haters Academy on Monday and the European team OneShot OneKill on Wednesday, with the Russian players holding the upper hand.
Next week is likely to be just as exciting as this one, but let’s hope the Firewolf Clan wrap up this week with ease – perhaps we’ll see them with a 7:3 record.
