The regular season of Arrmy’s 12th season is drawing to a close. Most teams have either already finished their campaign or have just a few matches left to play. Our partner – LHG – is aiming to secure a place in the play-offs, and through them, promotion to Arrmy Rising. After their last two matches, they currently have a 4-4 record, and the final two matches will decide their play-off fate; to qualify, LHG cannot afford to lose a single one.
How did the last two matches go for LHG?
On Thursday, they played their match against NoRed. The battle took place on the de_anubis map, where LHG were playing their first match of the season. The start wasn’t great, as their opponents took a 2-0 lead. Unfortunately, our partner only managed to reply once, forcing them to play an eco round, which the opponents ruthlessly exploited to take a 4-1 lead. They didn’t stop there, however, and after 10 rounds the score stood at 9-1. LHG responded with two rounds, and the half ended 9-3.
The second half also saw a very strong start from NoRed, who took an 11-3 lead. Our partner won a round, giving them hope of a comeback. However, this was quickly quashed by the opponents, and they went on to win the entire match 13-4.

The next match was supposed to be against FairyTale. However, they failed to turn up at the agreed time, allowing LHG to add a win to their tally, thereby levelling the score at 4:4. The remaining two matches will decide whether they will make the play-offs or end their season in the regular phase.
