This is the second new partnership from the EA Sports FC section this week. Following Angry Wolves, Ignite Esports is now joining the ranks of our partner teams. Thank you for your trust, and we look forward to a fruitful and long-lasting partnership.
Ignite Esports previously operated under the name ‘OVER20’, which was founded in November 2023. After a period of activity, operations were suspended, and the project itself returned under a new name – Ignite Esports – in January of this year.
Activities in ProLeague Polska
Ignite Esports competes in two leagues on a daily basis — ProLeague and VPG Polska. In the former, they compete at the second-highest level. The season there has already ended and, unfortunately, they failed to secure promotion to the top division. They fell 7 points short of the third-place spot, which secured promotion. Ultimately, Ignite finished in 5th place, with 47 points, having won 14 matches, drawn 9, and suffered 3 defeats.
Activities at VPG Polska
In this second organisation — VPG Polska — our newest partner is competing in the third tier, where they currently sit in second place, which at this stage secures them promotion to the second division. At the moment, only SpartaWK are ahead of them, having suffered just one defeat this season.
At present, Ignite Esports has 51 points to its name, having won 17 times and lost twice. It is worth noting that Ignite goes all in – it’s either a win or a loss, which is why they have 0 draws to their name.
