It’s been a while since we last looked at the changes in the Cybersport rankings. The last time was as recently as 12 December, mainly due to the Christmas break. However, three updates to the rankings were published during that time. Despite it being a quieter period, these updates brought about several significant changes. So we decided to catch up and see how our partners have been performing over the last few weeks.
The top of the rankings, however, remains relatively stable. There, Team Venom and Friendly Campers regularly swap places in second and third position, whilst Los Kogutos have managed to secure a solid 5th place. TNC also remains firmly in the TOP10, currently occupying 8th position. As usual, however, we see the most changes further down the table.
Changes in the Cybersport ranking – a quick catch-up
Since our last ranking on 8 December, the following weeks have brought several significant changes among our partners. In the next update, dated 15 December, NEXIUM POLteam performed best, climbing to 13th place. At the same time, ViBe Gaming recorded a significant drop to 18th place, which was directly linked to changes in the squad. Constrict Gaming and Hussars were positioned between these teams, taking 16th and 17th place respectively.
A week later, on 22 December, the situation began to stabilise. POLteam held onto 13th place, whilst ViBe Gaming managed to bounce back to 17th. Constrict Gaming dropped to 18th, and the biggest fall was recorded by Hussars, who slipped all the way down to 23rd in the rankings.
The last of the omitted updates, published on 29 December, brought slightly less dramatic changes. NEXIUM POLteam dropped to 14th place, whilst ViBe Gaming held onto 17th place. Unfortunately, Constrict Gaming slipped slightly to 19th place. Meanwhile, Hussars remained in 23rd place. Additionally, Vandals Clan became a new entry in the TOP30, appearing in 28th place following the announcement of their new line-up.
The current situation of our partners in the rankings
In the latest edition of the Cybersport ranking, the situation for our partners looks slightly different. Although the impact of the Christmas break and the limited number of matches played is still evident.
POLteam remains firmly in 14th place, whilst ViBe Gaming has climbed slightly and currently occupies 16th place. Constrict Gaming is heading in the opposite direction, continuing its slow decline and currently sitting in 21st place. Hussars remains stable, holding onto 23rd place in the rankings.
Vandals Clan finds itself on the brink of dropping out of the TOP30, currently occupying 30th place in the latest update. If the team fails to score points in the coming weeks, its presence in the rankings may prove short-lived.

The calm before the storm?
The last few weeks in the Cybersport ranking have been marked by relative stability, largely due to the Christmas break and the limited number of matches. Despite this, there have been plenty of changes among our partners. From minor promotions, through slow declines, to the battle to stay in the TOP30.
The coming weeks should bring much more excitement. With the return of regular tournaments and leagues, most teams will start earning points again, which could lead to dynamic shifts in the table. We, meanwhile, will be keeping a close eye on our partners’ situation and regularly checking how they are faring in this ranking.
