Another update to the Cybersport rankings. The top spots remain stable, but just behind them… it’s as busy as a motorway

- -

Although the latest update to the Cybersport rankings did not bring about any major changes at the very top. However, this does not mean that the past week was devoid of excitement… The TOP 10 remained virtually unchanged, confirming the consistent form of the country’s top teams. The only movement in the upper reaches of the table was a shift just behind the leaders. TNC moved up to 9th place, overtaking Los Kogutos, who this time failed to maintain their previous pace. Apart from this shuffle, the ‘big ten’ has retained its previous shape, highlighting the clear gap between the elite and the rest of the field.

Changes in the middle of the table: how did our partners fare?

However, this is merely a false sense of calm, as the real turmoil has broken out a little further down the table… where our partners are fighting their battles. The middle of the table has once again proved itself to be the most unpredictable section of the rankings. Here, even slight fluctuations in form can trigger a domino effect. Conversely, a single strong or weak run of matches often results in a jump or drop of several places.

This time, ViBe Gaming had to come to terms with a slight slip-up. The team dropped one place and currently sits in 13th position, though it remains very close to the top of the mid-table. The point differences here are so small that literally a single successful match could decide further shifts in the standings. Meanwhile, the most impressive move was made by POLteam, who had a brilliant week and climbed as many as five places, settling in 15th position. This is one of the most notable leaps, sending a clear signal that the team still has considerable potential to climb higher. POLteam not only capitalised brilliantly on their rivals’ slip-ups, but also demonstrated a level of form that suggests they can continue their climb up the table.

Just behind them are the Hussars, who also have reason to be pleased. The team have moved up one place and now occupy 16th position. It’s a small but very valuable rise, especially in such a tightly packed table where every point counts. The Hussars are steadily building stability and, if they maintain this momentum, they could challenge to overtake further teams in the next standings. Unfortunately, the situation looks slightly less optimistic for Constrict Gaming, who this time had to swallow a drop of two places, landing in 18th position. Their rivals capitalised on their weaker week, and the competition in this part of the table is so tight that any slip-up is immediately reflected in the standings. Constrict will need to stabilise their form quickly if they are to remain in mid-table and avoid slipping further down the standings.

Weekly round-up of the Cybersport rankings

The end of the week showed that whilst the very top of the Cybersport rankings remains stable, the middle of the table is still buzzing with activity. Our partners once again played a significant role in this part of the rankings… Some seized their opportunities and moved up the table, whilst others will have to look for chances to bounce back in the coming days. One thing, however, remains certain. The competition in the Cybersport rankings shows no sign of slowing down, and the upcoming updates may bring even more excitement. We are entering a period where every point counts double, so the battle is only just getting started.
