The thirteenth season of Arrma is gathering pace, and the first stage of the competition is slowly drawing to a close. The Open division is becoming increasingly tight, and the battle for promotion is entering a decisive phase. Today we’ll take a look at the situation facing NSQ, who still have a realistic chance of securing a place in the next stage of the league.
In our previous article, we analysed the team’s first four matches. Now it’s time to look at the next three games, which could prove crucial in determining the final league table. With just three matches remaining in the regular season, each one could decide the Neptyków’s fate.
Winning streak broken – NSQ’s first defeats in the Arrmy Open
NSQ 12:16 TEAM DZIENKI | Mirage
The first defeat of the season came on Mirage – a map that rarely forgives mistakes and demands full concentration throughout the match. From the very start, NSQ had to contend with intense pressure from TEAM DZIENKI. Despite a difficult start, they managed to gradually get back into the game and level the score. Determination and consistency in the closing stages of normal time gave them a chance to fight it out in overtime.
Unfortunately, the extra rounds were completely one-sided. TEAM DZIENKI entered extra time with renewed energy and quickly dominated the contest, leaving NSQ no room to respond. Despite the defeat, the match showed that NSQ can play under pressure and fight right to the very end. Even in difficult moments. However, this match was a clear sign that the margin for error at this stage of the competition is truly slim.
NSQ 8:13 Do Chrzanu Esports | Anubis
A second consecutive defeat. This time on Anubis, a map that can reward creativity but at the same time mercilessly exposes a lack of fluidity in play. From the outset, NSQ looked lost and not quite in sync in attack. Their opponents quickly seized the initiative and dictated the pace, forcing the Neptyk team to play on their terms.
Despite the odd flashes of brilliance and attempts to make up for lost ground, Do Chrzanu Esports controlled the match almost from the very first round. NSQ failed to find their rhythm or spread their wings, which resulted in a relatively low score. This match confirmed that there are no easy opponents in the Open division, and every team can prove to be a real threat.
NSQ 13:4 ONCESTW Slayers | Anubis
After two painful defeats, the Neptunes returned to Anubis with a clear goal: to break their losing streak and prove that their earlier stumbles were merely a temporary blip. What’s more, the players showed complete focus and determination from the very first rounds. From the outset, the match unfolded on their terms. NSQ dominated their opponents both in attack and defence, demonstrating far better organisation and effectiveness than in previous matches.
As a result, the 13-4 scoreline speaks for itself; the ONCESTW Conquerors were unable to find an answer to the Neptyków’s aggressive yet highly disciplined play. Furthermore, good communication, well-thought-out rotations and flashes of individual brilliance translated into a comfortable victory. Undoubtedly, such a result could prove crucial for the team’s morale ahead of the final matches of the regular season. Of course, if NSQ maintains this form, the fight for promotion remains very much a possibility.
With three matches remaining in the regular season, Neptyków’s situation remains wide open. Despite minor setbacks, the team has proven that it can bounce back quickly and get back on track. Crucial matches lie ahead in the near future, which could decide their promotion to the play-offs.
Tomorrow at 7 pm, NSQ will face POLI$H GLU3, who are also fighting to stay in the upper half of the table. In the coming days, the NSQ players face two new opponents: EXTREME and PANDEMONIUM NOX. These will certainly not be easy matches, but if the team maintains the form shown in their last match, they can look to the future with optimism. A decisive phase of the competition lies ahead, in which every point will be worth its weight in gold.
