Nisła Raków have been making some very interesting moves in December. On 5 December, they parted ways with their previous squad, which had managed to secure promotion to the Army Masters, so this loss must have been a blow. That’s how it sometimes goes, though, when a team achieves quite a lot and expects better conditions from the organisation, yet underground organisations don’t make any money and usually one person has to pay for everything, whilst also supporting themselves. It’s certainly no easy feat, and we must have great respect for those who nevertheless take on such risks.
We didn’t have to wait long for the new line-up, as it arrived rather unexpectedly after just three days without a team. This time, players from ex-Avernis – a team competing in Arrmy’s Rising division – have joined Nisła Raków. This is a slight downgrade compared to the previous squad, but it’s not certain that the new team won’t be promoted to Arrmy’s top league this season – and perhaps even knock the former Nisła team out of it.

Nisła Raków CEO – Krux – in a Twitter post
As you can read above, the CEO of Nisła Raków is very confident in this team and may well be expecting promotion to the Masters league, which I mentioned earlier. Currently, the new line-up in Army Rising S14 has a 3:3 record and still has a chance of qualifying for the play-offs, and thus of moving up a division. However, they now face matches against some fairly strong teams and will have to show their full potential to beat, amongst others, Hussars, who, despite not performing particularly well this season, remain dangerous and must be watched closely. All we can do is look forward to the team’s debut in their new colours and hope that their results will be even better than those of their predecessors.
Upcoming fixtures for Nisła Raków:
- vs Hussars, Saturday 13 December, 9.15 pm
- vs Neproser, Sunday 14 December, 8.30 pm
