This isn’t a new project, but a continuation of a story that began some time ago. LHG is rejoining the ranks of partners, embarking on the next phase of collaboration following a previously interrupted period of partnership. As such, the team faces further tournaments, challenges and a desire for continued growth on the CS2 scene. Furthermore, the team makes no secret of its ambition to showcase the competition from the inside and share its journey with an ever-growing community.
Who is LHG?
As you will no doubt recall, LHG is an amateur team that began its activities on 3 March 2018. From the very beginning, the project has been led by Piotr “korcze” Korczyński, who serves as the team’s owner. As such, over the years, LHG has consistently built its presence on the Polish CS scene, focusing on regular tournament competition and the gradual development of its players.
From the outset, the team has committed fully to a single discipline, focusing exclusively on Counter-Strike. This approach allows the team to develop various tactical, communication and strictly team-based aspects. It is also significant that LHG is a project created by young, ambitious players who want to gain experience and take on new challenges on the amateur scene.
What is their line-up?
The current LHG line-up consists of:
- Piotr “korcze” Korczyński
- Arkadiusz “bandytaa” Gutowski
- Arkadiusz “FAST3R” Skłudzki
- Krzysztof “saga” Kowalczyk
- Patryk “Mobbyn” Bogucki
The team is also supported by the following reserve players:
- Mateusz “B0L3K” Kuncewicz
- Łukasz “sevil” Całka
- Mikołaj “mikesz” Rola
Achievements and team philosophy
Over the past few seasons, LHG has achieved several significant results, which the team itself considers its greatest achievements. These include a 7th-place finish at Cyberium Kraków LAN, as well as qualifying for the play-offs of ARRMY OPEN S11 and S12. These results mark important milestones in the team’s history and confirm their consistent presence in the competitive scene.
At the same time, LHG is a project that is not limited solely to results. The team describes itself as “an aspiring team of young lads – more frags than hours of sleep”… This, however, captures its character and approach to working together well. The team focuses on development, teamwork and gaining experience, treating every match as another step on its esports journey.
The Superiongg x LHG partnership is a step towards the further development of the amateur CS2 scene in Poland. This partnership will enable regular media activities, greater visibility for the LHG team, and the joint creation of a valuable space for the Counter-Strike community in Poland.
As an amateur team, all the lads want to experience, even if only to a small extent, the moments of victory, defeat, joy and sorrow, and the competition that accompany top-level players on a daily basis. We also want to show what team play looks like from the inside – its strengths and weaknesses – and so we upload our matches to one of our players’ YouTube channels to spread our passion for the game.Piotr “korcze” Korczyński – Founder of LHG
The founder’s words accurately reflect the direction in which the LHG project is heading. Returning to collaboration is not only a continuation of previous activities, but also an opportunity for the team’s further development. For example, greater visibility in the media and the systematic building of a community around the amateur CS2 scene.
