Three teams are taking part in Army Rising. Due to the issues caused by the latest Counter-Strike 2 update, one team still has a chance of reaching the play-offs, as the final round has been suspended. This, of course, refers to Gloris eSports; in their case, all they need to do is win their final match and hope for the other results in the group to go their way. Meanwhile, there are two teams that appear to have secured their places in the play-offs: SLAKE and Valiance.
Valiance
Valiance finished the regular season in second place in the table. After nine matches, they have a record of eight wins and just one defeat. Their only defeat came against Modern Players, where they lost quite heavily, 2–13 on Nuke. Apart from that, there were two walkovers, both in favour of our partner.

Next opponent
Things were going well, but Valve threw a spanner in the works and, due to an update, suspended the operation of platforms such as Arrmy and FACEIT. Yesterday, our partner, Valiance, was due to play their final group stage match in Arrmy Rising against Horizon. However, the match did not take place due to the Counter-Strike update. We don’t know when it will be rescheduled; presumably once the Arrmy administration has sorted out the issues caused by Valve’s update.

SLAKE
As we’ve mentioned before, SLAKE can rest easy when it comes to a place in the play-offs. This is because they were one of the few teams to have played 10 matches before the fateful Counter-Strike update, but most importantly, they performed very well in those matches, which has earned them a place in the play-offs and a chance to be promoted to Arrma’s top league. After 10 matches, SLAKE sit in third place, behind Valiance. Seven wins and two defeats.

Gloris eSports
Gloris eSports are currently bottom of the table amongst the partners taking part in Rising, but that doesn’t mean their situation is hopeless and they have no chance of reaching the play-offs. On the contrary, there is still a chance of making the play-offs; all they need to do is win their next match, which has been postponed.

Two days ago, the Gloris eSports players were due to face NoSurrenderGG. However, as we mentioned earlier, the CS update caused problems not only for the Arrma administrators, forcing them to put the queue on hold. A new date will likely be set soon, once the site’s administrators have sorted out the issues. Gloris’s round record isn’t too bad, so if they win this match – provided other teams’ results go their way – they’ll be in with a chance of promotion. It’s a positive sign that they’re facing NoSurrenderGG, who are 5th in the league with a 6-3 record. With a potentially big win, Gloris might even overtake them, though that’s a rather extreme scenario. One of the conditions for reaching the play-offs is that teams such as Pandemonium, ŻółwOdTyłu or Horizon must lose. If all the teams mentioned above lose their matches and Gloris eSports win, then our partner will feature in the play-offs. Another scenario in which we could see Gloris eSports in the play-offs is if at least two of the teams we mentioned earlier lose.
