Week 2 of the 52nd ESEA Intermediate Season has now come to an end. We know that Armitra Esports did not repeat the disastrous start they had last season, but their current results do not inspire much optimism.
Armitra Esports’ current record
The second week of league action proved far more difficult for the Armitra players than they had anticipated. After two intense matches that demanded their full commitment, the final result was not favourable. Unfortunately, the team recorded a 1-3 record, placing them between 172nd and 176th. On a positive note, it is worth mentioning that the well-known streamers from Emeritos Banditos are also in the same bracket, although they have not yet played their fourth match. Although the competition is fierce, one must hope that in the coming weeks Armitra will improve their results and climb the rankings.
Who has Armitra faced and what were the results?
- Armitra Esports 7:13 Rebel Stars, Dust 2
Armitra’s third match of the season was played on the Dust 2 map. Their opponents were Rebel Stars. After a fierce and thrilling contest, the match ended with a score of 7:13 in Rebel’s favour. Jaex-, one of the Rebel Stars players, attracted a lot of attention in this match. On the day, he completely dominated his opponents, finishing the match with 31 kills whilst only dying 14 times himself.
There is certainly no denying the skill of the Armitra Esports players. In the match in question, their statistics were on a par, which speaks volumes about their teamwork and ability. Each of them managed to defeat at least ten opponents. However, had a standout player emerged that day to secure over 20–30 eliminations, the situation might have looked very different. Such a result could have led to a completely different outcome. The team had the potential to surprise their rivals, but they lacked that one exceptional player who could have led the team to victory.
- CHAOX ESPORTS 13:2 Armitra Esports, Anubis
23 January was a day the Armitra players would certainly like to forget. On that day, they suffered a crushing defeat against CHAOX ESPORTS. The match turned out to be extremely one-sided, with the final score ending 13:2 in favour of their opponents. The Armitra players were unable to find their rhythm.
There are certainly many questions arising after such a crushing defeat. Was it simply a bad day for Armitra, or was the veto the problem? In any case, CHAOX ESPORTS’ dominance was clear on the day. It is worth looking at what went wrong. Perhaps it was an inappropriate strategy or simply the opponent being in better form. Whatever the reasons, one thing is clear: the Armitra Esports team must analyse this defeat and learn from it.

This week, the Armitra Esports players will face the Russian team back2back and pulkahs, made up of Swedish players. From a spectator’s perspective, these clashes may look straightforward. The statistics show that Armitra has the upper hand over their rivals. However, nothing is certain in CS2. Every match can bring unexpected twists and turns. This makes the competitions full of tension and excitement.
Now it’s time to keep our fingers crossed for Armitra in their upcoming matches. Their goals seem clear: to qualify for the playoffs. Good results could open the door to a higher division for them. Let’s hope their determination and skills take them to the top. However, only time will tell how they fare against these challenges.
