Superion Gaming qualifies for the ArrMY S15 closed qualifiers

- -

The new ArrMY season brings plenty of changes and excitement, and the teams are already gearing up for top-level competition. Superion Gaming has proven that it is ready for the challenges, having comfortably progressed through the open qualifiers to secure a place in the next stage: the closed qualifiers. The upcoming season promises not only intense competition… but also many new features in the competition system and the professionalisation of the league, aimed at raising the quality of competition and introducing greater transparency. Fans can look forward to more thrilling matches and a completely new experience during the LAN finals in Gdańsk.

Changes in the new ArrMY season

ArrMY is introducing a number of new features in the organisation of its 15th season. One of the biggest is the way the finals will be played… However, the open qualifiers began on 23 February, whilst league matches will kick off on 9 March. The season will culminate in the LAN finals in Gdańsk, which will bring together the eight best teams from the OPEN league and four teams each from the RISING and MASTERS leagues. This is a unique opportunity for teams and fans to witness the competition live. What’s more, three seasons are planned for the year. This means as many as three such finals, offering even more excitement and top-level competition.

Another significant change is the implementation of the long-awaited, proprietary anti-cheat system. The organisers have spent a long time working on a system designed to ensure complete fairness in competition and eliminate any attempts to use performance-enhancing aids. Crucially, every participant can report any issues, bugs or inconveniences they encounter, which is intended to accelerate the development and refinement of the system. This makes the competitions more professional and predictable. Meanwhile, teams can focus entirely on tactics and skills, rather than worrying about opponents’ unfair play.

The most significant change from the teams’ perspective is the modification to the qualification system for the RISING and MASTERS leagues. The organisers have moved away from separate tournaments, introducing four qualifying tournaments, each featuring 128 teams. The top four teams from each round will advance to the closed qualifying phase. Four teams from the previous season’s play-offs will also join this phase, guaranteeing their place in the RISING league. The top two from this phase will then face the winners of the RISING and MASTERS leagues, competing for promotion to the Masters League. This should make the whole process more transparent, and the competition will become more exciting.

Superion Gaming’s journey in the open qualifiers

Superion Gaming’s journey to the closed qualifiers began with a clash against Sierra Leone on the Nuke map. Although their opponents put up some resistance, Superion consistently controlled the pace of the game, building up a points lead. Ultimately, the 13-7 victory showed that the team had started the competition well and was able to maintain its focus at crucial moments. This match allowed the players to find their rhythm and gain confidence… Which was extremely important at the start of the qualifiers, when every team wanted to make its presence felt and demonstrate that it could compete for a place in the next round.

Subsequent matches confirmed Superion Gaming’s strength and consistency. First, the team comfortably defeated firmuweczka 13-1 on the Ancient map… They then crushed BUD Esports again 13-1, this time on the Dust 2 map. These results leave no doubt that Superion held a clear advantage over their rivals at this stage of the qualifiers. Although the final score suggests a one-sided contest, during the matches the players had to maintain full concentration and employ tactical plays. These confident victories put the team in the perfect frame of mind for the final, decisive qualifying clashes.

The final stage of the qualifiers brought more evenly matched encounters, including a clash with HFDJKHDFJK, which ended 13-4 on the Ancient map. The most thrilling, however, was the battle against the 4 Pancernych i Kot team on the Dust 2 arena. Superion Gaming had to demonstrate full concentration and consistency there. Although their opponents put up a strong fight, the team maintained their lead and ultimately won 13:11. This secured them a place in the closed qualifiers. This promotion shows that Superion is ready for further competition and can realistically look forward to the next stages of the league.

Superion Gaming ready for the next challenges

Superion Gaming has proven that it can not only compete effectively in the open qualifiers but also remain calm and consistent in tougher moments. Thanks to solid play and confident victories, the team has secured a place in the closed qualifiers. Thus demonstrating that it is ready to fight for higher goals in the ArrMY league. The new season rules, anti-cheat measures and qualification system bring even more excitement and professionalism. Superion, however, seems ready to rise to these challenges. The team now faces the next stages and an opportunity to prove its class on an even bigger stage.
