Superion Gaming beat Hevind Esports in the Galaxy Cup!

A match that had many people interested. And not by chance, as both teams are well-known and respected names in the UG scene. Following some turmoil and changes to their line-up, Hevind were not the favourites going into this match. Despite this, they quickly found their feet on the map and even managed to take the lead early on. However, this didn’t last long. By the time the sides switched sides at half-time, Superion Gaming had been on a winning streak, meaning that after Superion won the pistol round, they had several match points. Initially, they failed to defend these, and it seemed that Hevind were slowly getting back into the match, but that was not to be. Thus, Husarz’s team ended the match with a 13-9 victory.

For Superion Gaming, this means a 2-1 record; following their defeat by Widelec, the team secured a walkover victory against Divergent AC, as well as in the aforementioned clash with Hevind. They now face Team Fairus, where they are once again the favourites and stand to achieve a 3-1 record, which would guarantee their progression to the next stage of the tournament.

Hevind, on the other hand, has already played four matches in the Galaxy Cup, winning two of them. They managed to defeat Team Fairus, as well as the Holy Cows by walkover. However, they lost to Superion and the ‘bulls’ from Prime Bulls.
