The Separatists bez awansu?

We have some sad news for fans of The Separatists. The club’s players usually compete in the second tier of VPG Poland. They will likely spend some time in this division again next season. Why ‘likely’? There is always a chance that a first-division club might go ‘bankrupt’, and a replacement would need to be found; given The Separatists’ current position, they would surely be given priority in such a scenario. This season’s second division featured 20 teams, each of which played 38 matches. One team withdrew from the competition, namely “SpartEagle”. Each team in the second division was therefore awarded 6 points. However, let’s focus on The Separatists. They are 5 points behind third place (Dach Esport). They have 84 points to their name, thanks to 26 wins and 6 draws. They are 7 points ahead of 5th-placed Gringos eSports.

Among the players from the partner team, we can highlight “Kapixo”, who was the most prolific goalscorer among The Separatists’ players, finding the net 32 times in 33 matches. His club-mate “D3NKO_PL_ATZE_” was no slouch either, scoring 26 times in 29 matches. For the former, this is the 4th best result in the league, and for D3NKO — the 7th.

Someone had to be setting up those chances for D3NKO and Kapixo, didn’t they? “igilu_89” recorded 15 assists in 38 matches played, the fourth-best tally in the league. Behind him, however, is another representative of The Separatists – “rafalboss16_”, who managed this feat 12 times in 27 matches.

The Separatists kicked off their campaign in the second division’s fourth season with a draw against OKS Otwock e-Sport. They have secured 22 points out of a possible 30 across the league’s first 10 rounds. Whilst no one was surprised by the defeat to Dach Esport, the loss of points to Hackers Esports likely came as a shock to more than a few The Separatists fans.

25 points out of a possible 30. Two points lost in the match against Gringos eSports and three against Loco Villanos. Both matches were played away from home. The second half of the season has already begun, and in it, The Separatists managed to get their own back on OKS Otwock E-Sport, against whom they had drawn at the start of the season.

Apparently, Dach Esport knows The Separatists’ players too well to drop points against them. Six points won, against a single opponent, an opponent fighting for promotion to a higher league. The situation is similar with Hackers Esports, but here the difference is that the second match ended in a draw, and The Separatists conceded four points to them.

It is likely that these regular slip-ups against rivals such as Dach Esport, Gringos eSports and Loco Villanos cost The Separatists promotion. Judging by the league table, The Separatists have not secured promotion to the higher division.
