The action in the ESEA is really heating up, and today we’re taking another look at the Entry Division. That’s where VoFoxen are competing, having had a flawless run through the playoffs so far. The Foxes are now facing their third match in the upper bracket – a clash that could open the door to the Intermediate Division for them. But before that happens, let’s take a look at how their journey has unfolded over the two matches so far.
The unstoppable Foxes in the playoffs

VoFoxen 2:0 No Mercy :ua:13:3 | Nuke
The Foxes’ playoff adventure began on Nuke, a map chosen by No Mercy. Their rivals were no doubt counting on this being their strong point… but reality turned out to be quite different. From the very first rounds, VoFoxen imposed their style of play and took full control of the action on the server. In the first half, No Mercy had practically no say in the matter, and the Foxes coolly capitalised on every mistake their opponents made, ending the half with a score of 10:2. After the sides switched, it was already clear that this was merely a formality. Although their rivals managed to snatch one more round, VoFoxen quickly put the icing on the cake, winning 13:3. It is worth noting that Stich shone individually, and his 23 eliminations with just 9 deaths show just how much he dominated his opponents.
16:12 | Mirage
The second map, Mirage, was VoFoxen’s pick. Initially, it looked as though we were in for a repeat of the first match. The Foxes played confidently and controlled the flow of the game, which translated into a four-point lead at half-time. However, after the sides switched, No Mercy began to fight back with increasing confidence, chipping away at the deficit point by point. VoFoxen found themselves in a tougher spot, and the map’s fate had to be decided in overtime. It was then that the Foxes showed their character… completely shutting out their opponents’ path to victory and finishing Mirage with a score of 16:12. In this match, JeykeS with 23 frags and Szut1 with 22 stood out, leading the team to a confident 2:0 victory in the series.
VoFoxen 2:0 teamKR :de:
13:6 | Mirage
The Foxes began the second round of the playoffs by selecting Mirage once again. This time, however, the start was far more challenging. The first half proceeded at a fairly even pace, with VoFoxen managing to build a modest 7-5 lead. After the sides switched, however, the game changed dramatically. The Foxes found their rhythm and began to win rounds one after another, giving their German opponents little chance. Ultimately, VoFoxen allowed teamKR to win just one round after the break and closed out the map with a score of 13:6. Although JeykeS led the frags table with 18 kills, Stich and Nrage stood out just as much, dealing an average of 100 damage per round, showing that their contribution to the victory was equally crucial.
13:5 | Dust 2
On the second map, VoFoxen proved that they are equally at home on their opponents’ turf. The first half was entirely under their control and ended with a four-point lead. After the sides switched, the Foxes pressed even harder, leaving their opponents virtually no chance. Their opponents managed to pick up just one round, and the entire map was wrapped up in no time with a score of 13:5. The hero of this part of the match was undoubtedly Nrage, and his 27 kills with just 7 deaths speaks for itself. It was his superb form that sealed a comfortable victory for VoFoxen in the series.
The Foxes are racing towards promotion
Two matches, two convincing victories and not a single map lost… That is exactly how VoFoxen’s journey through the playoffs has looked so far. The Foxes have proven that they can both dominate their opponents from the very first round and keep their cool in the tougher moments. It is definitely a combination that could secure them the promotion they crave to the Intermediate division. However, the Foxes now face their most important challenge yet: the third round of the upper bracket, which will decide their fate. The team’s form suggests they are ready to secure another victory and take that final step towards the higher division.
