YNG SKiLLZ vs. partnerzy

- -

It probably comes as no surprise to anyone that YNG SKiLLZ will also be competing in the top tier of ProLeague Polska. A lot is happening within the YNG squad ahead of their league debut. First, the announcement of five transfers, which we wrote about HERE, and in the meantime, the team is taking part in the VPG Miami League and the OG League. They’re doing quite well in both of these competitions. Of course, without taking anything away from the Miami League and the OG League, such tournaments will certainly serve as good preparation ahead of the ProLeague Polska season.

Speaking of the OG League, we’ve already covered our partner’s matches in this competition, but only the first two rounds — click here to read more. Since then, our partner has played four matches; let’s see how they fared.

In Round 3, they faced 4FUNGAMING, and the match itself was played away from home. However, this wasn’t a problem, as the result shows — YNG dominated their opponents, winning the match 3–1.

On Sunday (4 May), our partner finished their match against another partner — The Separatists. As befits partners, both teams shared the points after a 2–2 draw.

After four rounds, YNG SKiLLZ were in 4th place with 9 points, and the following players were named in the Team of the Week for those rounds:

Artur “Atomowy Artur” Mendelewski — defender
KAKTUS — goalkeeper

Congratulations, and here’s to more such honours for the YNG SKiLLZ players!

In Round 5, they faced our partner again, this time the Iron Ravens. And this time, they decided to share the points. Last Sunday, the match ended 2–2.

Last Sunday (11/05) was unfortunately not a successful one for YNG SKiLLZ. They ended the day with a match against CWL Esports. Why was it not a success? The 1–3 defeat to CWL Esports certainly dampened the players’ spirits.

Following a poor or mediocre performance last Sunday, YNG SKiLLZ dropped one place in the league table. Three draws, one draw and two defeats — that is our partner’s record, giving them 10 points. The team in 4th place has the same number of points but a better goal difference (by 6). The gap to first or second place, however, is not large, as they are 4 points behind second and 5 behind first.

Meanwhile, the draw for the first and second rounds of the OG League Cup has taken place, and in the round of 16, YNG SKiLLZ will face Iron Ravens once again. However, we will have to wait for this match until all the round of 32 fixtures have been completed.
