Constrict Gaming begins its search for a new player

- -

Roster changes are an integral part of the Counter-Strike esports scene… Especially in teams that want to consistently compete for ever-higher goals. Sometimes these changes are the result of poor results; at other times, they stem from the natural development of the organisation and a desire to take competition to the next level. In the case of Constrict Gaming, everything points to the latter scenario. The organisation has been consistently building its position on the Polish scene for some time now, prioritising stability and a long-term approach to managing the team.

Over recent months, Constrict Gaming has regularly featured in tournaments such as ESEA and ArrMY, gaining experience and competing against increasingly strong opponents. The organisation has repeatedly emphasised that it is not only concerned with results, but also with creating a professional environment that allows players to develop at their own pace. Now, however, the project is entering its next phase, as the team has officially begun the search for a new player to join the first team.

Constrict Gaming is looking for an aggressive rifler for its permanent roster

In a published announcement, Constrict Gaming stated that it is looking for a player to fill the role of entry fragger – that is, an aggressive rifler responsible for opening rounds and creating space for the team. The organisation also emphasised that it is keen to find someone ready for a long-term partnership and willing to remain in the squad for at least several months.

At the same time, the core of the current squad was also presented. As highlighted in the post, three players – Zarychczix, DenisM and Mamek – have been playing together for over five years. The current quartet, completed by storM, has been playing together for nearly a year. The organisation is therefore making it clear that squad stability is one of the most important foundations of the entire project.

Constrict Gaming also outlined the support offered to players. Among other things, the team provides a CS server, TeamSpeak, and covers fees associated with leagues and tournaments. In addition, they provide branding, team shirts and the opportunity to attend boot camps and LAN events. Furthermore, the organisation holds slots in ESEA Main and ARRMY Rising. All of this gives the new player the opportunity to play regularly at a relatively high competitive level. The announcement also mentioned that all current players are employed on a contract-for-services basis.

The list of requirements itself, however, is very specific. Candidates must be aged between 16 and 24, have played at least 6,000 hours of the game, hold a Faceit rank of 10, and have experience in team-based Counter-Strike. The organisation also expects full availability and the ability to travel to LAN events and boot camps. However, perhaps most importantly, candidates must have an impeccable track record regarding bans on Steam, Faceit or other platforms. Constrict Gaming has emphasised that communication, consistency, patience and the right attitude to teamwork are of key importance.

The next step in the organisation’s development

The announcement as a whole shows that Constrict Gaming is not simply looking for a player “for the short term”, but for someone who will genuinely become part of a project that has been developing for several years. The organisation places great emphasis on stability, consistent work and a long-term approach, which is still not the norm on the Polish scene. Combined with the experience of the current core of the squad and participation in tournaments such as ESEA Main, this could be an interesting option for players looking for a place to develop further.

The coming weeks will reveal who ultimately joins Constrict Gaming and whether the new line-up will be able to take the next step forward. One thing is certain, however… The organisation is making it clear that it has ambitious plans and wants to consistently build its position on the Counter-Strike scene.
