Half a month of Arrma matches is now behind us, and Season 12 is entering its decisive phase. Most teams have played five matches and are eagerly awaiting the next ones. Let’s not forget that the regular season consists of just ten matches, and only the top 128 teams will qualify for the play-offs. Although the competition is fierce, Gloris eSports are performing surprisingly well, and who knows – perhaps we’ll see them in the next stage of the competition?
Gloris eSports’ opponents so far – who have stood in their way?
- Gloris eSports 13–7 Soplica e-xport, Nuke
- Gloris eSports 13:4 PGv TEAM, Anubis
Gloris eSports kicked off their campaign in Arrma’s 12th season in impressive style – two matches, two wins. Although the opening clash with Soplica e-xport was far from straightforward, the team managed to build a solid lead, gradually increasing their round count. In the second round, Gloris faced PGv TEAM in a one-sided match that ended in a comfortable victory. Every win and a positive round difference are crucial in the battle for higher positions in the table – and Gloris shows no sign of slowing down just yet.
- Virtuoso Gaming 0–1 Gloris eSports, walkover
Unfortunately for the fans, Gloris eSports’ third match did not take place – their opponents forfeited the match. Although such a victory adds points, the players may feel slightly unsatisfied, as it only adds one round to their round difference. Fortunately, the results of subsequent matches mean the team can rest easy. If Gloris maintain their current form, a place in the play-offs will be within reach.
- Gloris eSports 13:3 ElBambikos, Dust 2
- Gloris eSports 6:13 ArmiaGAMING, Anubis
The fourth match? You could predict the result just from the names of the opponents… Of course, that’s just a joke, but the fact is that ElBambikos didn’t put up much of a fight, and Gloris confidently added another one-sided map to their tally. Unfortunately, every winning streak comes to an end eventually. The fifth match against ArmiaGAMING didn’t go to our players’ plans. Although Gloris tried to put up a fight, on a map as specific and one-sided as Anubis, it wasn’t enough. Interestingly, in their first match on this map, the team secured victory with ease – this time, however, their opponents proved to be better prepared.
Who else stands in Gloris’s way before the play-offs?
- Friday, 7 March, 22:00, Provog
- vs Kiedyś Miałem Team
- vs Dobu Junior
Tomorrow, Gloris eSports will face Provog, and next week they’ll take on Kiedyś Miałem Team and Dobu Junior. However, this is just the start of the decisive phase of the season – on 12 March, we’ll find out who the final two rivals are who’ll have a chance to thwart Gloris’s plans. Will the team manage to maintain their good form and secure a place in the play-offs? We’ll find out very soon!
