The action in the 52nd season of ESEA is heating up. Although many teams have already been eliminated from the tournament, the Hussars are still in the running and showing no signs of slowing down. They have advanced to the quarter-finals of the playoffs, edging closer to their long-awaited promotion to the Main Division. But is that the only achievement they can boast of?
The quarter-finals are within reach. Who did the Hussars face?

CHAOX is a team that regularly features in our articles. If I’m counting correctly, this is the third time they’ve faced our partners. Their previous two clashes were against Armitra, and in both cases they proved the better side. This time, however, they found themselves up against Hussars – and quickly realised that the Poles are no pushovers.
The match was incredibly close, but it was Hussars who performed better at the crucial moments, effectively closing out the rounds. They needed just two maps to seal victory in this series.
Fate in Counter-Strike can be fickle, and the first map – Dust 2 – was chosen by their opponents. Despite this, it was the Hussars who got off to a better start, comfortably taking a 4-8 lead at half-time. CHAOX tried to make up the deficit, but ultimately the Polish team closed out the map with a score of 11-13.
The second match took place on Anubis – a map known for its one-sided nature. It was the Hussars’ choice, though they initially had slight problems getting into the game. However, the score at half-time looked promising, and ultimately, after a successful comeback, it was they who emerged victorious from this contest, closing out the series.

The Hussars aren’t letting up! As well as their successful run in the ESEA, they can also boast excellent results in other competitions. Recent matches have shown that both the main squad and their academy are in fine form.
In the Galaxy Cup tournament, a fratricidal clash took place, with Hussars facing off against Hussars Young. The senior team’s experience made itself felt, and the match ended 13:6 in favour of the main squad. Despite the defeat, the academy squad showed that it has the potential to compete at a high level.
Meanwhile, in the Gamepex tournament, the Hussars left their opponents in no doubt. The clash with ToBywaFrustrujące was a true display of strength – the 13-1 scoreline speaks for itself. Hussars Young put in an equally impressive performance, comfortably defeating HighVoltage 13-5, controlling the match from start to finish.
The Hussars continue to climb the ranks, and their recent results show they have the potential to win further titles. Following successful performances in the Galaxy Cup, Gamepex and ESEA, the team certainly has no intention of resting on its laurels. With every match, both the team’s experience and chemistry become increasingly evident. There are still many exciting clashes ahead, and the Hussars are already proving that they are ready for major challenges. Further successes may be only a matter of time!
