The early stages of leagues such as Arrmy are often unpredictable, but SLAKE isn’t worried and has made a perfect start to the 12th season of the Rising division. Now the question is, did their opponents not expect such tough matches, or is it simply that the SLAKE players are in top form? One thing is certain — they played their first two matches, easily defeating their rivals to achieve a 2-0 record.
Who did the SLAKE players face?
- SLAKE 13:11 without a run-up, Anubis
The map on which SLAKE’s first match was played is famous for its one-sidedness and unpredictability. It often happens that the team dominating from the very start easily wins the match to nil, but just as often the lead can melt away in the blink of an eye, leading to surprising twists and turns.
That was the case this time too – the match turned out to be extremely even, with neither side willing to let up. SLAKE did not start the match with a strong lead in rounds, but they showed mental resilience and consistency at key moments. Thanks to effective teamwork and sound decisions in the closing stages, they managed to tip the balance of victory in their favour.
Although it wasn’t an easy match, it’s the end result that counts – a win that not only gives SLAKE their first points but also brings them closer to the fight for promotion to a higher division. If they maintain this form, they could cause a stir in the table.
- Red Star Zenith 5:11 SLAKE, Ancient
The second match went much more smoothly for SLAKE, with the team controlling the game from the very start. Their rivals from Red Star Zenith were unable to put up a fight on equal terms, which allowed SLAKE to build a solid round lead. The match ended in a confident 5:11 victory, and the style in which the team closed out the map only confirmed their excellent form.
SLAKE currently sit 4th in the table, but with this form they could quickly climb onto the podium. Their play is characterised not only by effectiveness but also by great self-confidence, which is crucial in the battle for the higher echelons of the competition. Their composure in difficult moments and consistency in executing tactical plans mean that their future matches look extremely promising.
If SLAKE maintain their current form, it is not out of the question that they will soon be in contention for promotion to the prestigious Masters League. At the moment, everything is in their hands – they just need to keep their winning streak going and avoid unnecessary mistakes.
What do SLAKE’s upcoming matches look like?

This Friday, SLAKE face their next challenge – their opponents will be the Hussars, one of our partners. Next up is a clash with POLteam, who secured promotion to this division in the play-offs by defeating Firewolf Clan.
But that’s not the end of the excitement! Even before the match against Hussars, we’ll find out who their next two opponents are, which means the coming days will be crucial for the league table. Will SLAKE maintain their winning streak and cement their place at the top?
