The new ArrMY season is gathering pace, and the first few weeks of competition are now behind us. Although not all teams have played four matches yet, it is becoming increasingly clear which teams have got off to a good start and could be in contention for the top spots before the end of the regular season. There is plenty of cause for optimism among the teams in our editorial team’s partner programme. Most of our partners boast a positive win-loss record, and as many as three teams remain unbeaten. Today, we’re taking a look at our partners’ performances so far in the Open, Rising B and Masters divisions, to see where they stand ahead of the next rounds.
ArrMY Open
NPK II secure their first wins
NPK Esport’s second squad began their campaign in the ArrMY Open with a tough match against Cholibka. The contest on Ancient was evenly matched, but ultimately the opponents proved the better side. They won the match 11:13 and secured a full set of points. However, for NPK’s second team, this was their only defeat of the season so far.
The next two series, however, did not require them to take to the server. Both Źdźbło e-sport and Sierra Leone forfeited their matches. As a result, NPK II added two victories to their tally. Their current 2–1 record allows the team to keep pace with the top of the table and puts them in a strong position heading into the rest of the season.
NPK still faces another challenge. This Sunday, the team will take on INKUSP, and a win would allow them to finish the first part of the regular season with a very solid record. It will also be the first opportunity in quite some time to compete for points directly on the server once again.
ArrMY Rising
Nisła Raków remain unbeaten
Nisla Rakov have been in very consistent and stable form since the start of the season, which has directly resulted in a clean sweep of three wins after the first few rounds. The team has made a strong start to the Rising B division, immediately demonstrating that they will be one of the teams to watch in the battle for the top spots. Their first match brought a comfortable 13–4 victory over Virgin Trinity on the Nuke map, which allowed them to build a solid foundation for the rest of the season and sent a clear message to their rivals.
The second clash against TEB Esport Pro proved to be far more challenging. This time, the match was much more evenly matched, and for a long time neither side was able to clearly take the initiative. Ultimately, however, it was Nisla Rakov who kept their cool in the closing stages, winning 13–11 on Anubis and picking up further vital points that kept them among the undefeated teams.
The third round also ended in complete success. On Mirage, the team defeated Grupa Zawodnicza 13–7. Once again, they demonstrated good control over the flow of the match and consistency at key moments. Thanks to this, their 3–0 record places Nisla Rakov among the very top of the Rising B division, where they remain one of the teams with the best start in the entire competition.
The team faces another challenge today, one that could further cement their position in the table. Their opponents will be Total Esport, and a victory would allow them to maintain their perfect record and take another step towards a very high seeding ahead of the final phase of the regular season.
Visionary continue their winning streak
Visionary have also made an excellent start to the season, demonstrating from the very first rounds that they intend to be a force to be reckoned with in the battle for the top spots in the Rising B division. Right from the opening match, the team confidently defeated Madino & Cam Bros 13–5 on Mirage. By controlling the flow of the match and dictating the pace of play from the outset, they were able to build positive momentum early in the season.
Their second victory came without having to play on the server, as Equinox forfeited the match. Thanks to this, Visionary were able to add further points to their tally without any extra effort. At the same time, they maintained their unbeaten status and consolidated their position at the top of the league.
The third round was once again a resounding success. This time, Visionary won 13–8 against WTG AC on the Nuke map, executing their game plan to the letter and closing out the match at crucial moments, resulting in their third consecutive victory. With a 3–0 record, the team now finds itself in a very comfortable position ahead of the season’s upcoming challenges.
However, the upcoming match promises to be far more demanding. Tomorrow, Visionary will face WolfTeamGuys’ first-team line-up. This could prove to be one of the toughest tests at this stage of the season and the first real test of the team’s form against a stronger opponent.
Constrict Gaming capitalises on a strong start
Constrict Gaming can also be pleased with how the first few weeks of the ArrMY season have gone so far. Although their first two victories came about under somewhat unusual circumstances. Following walkovers conceded by ChybaMichalki and Nexium POLteam, the team made excellent use of the opportunity that presented itself. As a result, they started the season with a full haul of points without any major problems, which immediately put them in a strong starting position.
Their first real test on the server came in the match against Total Esport. Constrict Gaming put in a very strong performance, winning comfortably 13–5 on the Nuke map. This confirmed that their results so far are not merely down to a favourable fixture list, but also to the team’s strong form in direct competition.
Their current 3–0 record means that Constrict Gaming remain among the very top of the Rising B division, remaining one of the teams that have yet to drop any points in the regular season. The team faces another match this Sunday, when they will take on 4wb. This will be another opportunity to maintain their winning streak and consolidate their position in the table ahead of the rest of the season.
ArrMY Masters
Vandals Clan among the Masters leaders
Vandals Clan have made an excellent start to the competition in ArrMY’s top division. Right from the outset, they have shown that they will be a force to be reckoned with in the battle for the top spots. As early as the first round, the team sent a clear message to their rivals, confidently defeating Fang Esport 13–1 on the Nuke map. This not only secured them maximum points… But also to a very favourable round difference, which remains one of the best in the entire league to this day.
The second match also ended with a full haul of points. This time, Vandals Clan faced Armitra Esport, and although the match was far more demanding than the season opener, the team once again managed to tip the scales in their favour. They won 13–8 on Nuke, cementing their place at the very top of the table, where the battle for every point is becoming increasingly crucial.
Their first defeat did not come until the third round, when Monki Flip proved more effective on the same map, winning the match 5–13 and ending Vandals Clan’s two-match winning streak. Despite this setback, the team still maintains a very solid position. With a 2–1 record and a positive round difference, they currently stand out from other teams with the same points tally.
In addition, Vandals Clan were due to face iashb123 on Thursday. However, the match was postponed and has not yet been played. This means the team still has a match in hand, which could prove crucial in the battle for the highest possible position before the end of the regular season and the final league table.
VoFoxen Esports are looking for more points
VoFoxen Esports had a slightly tougher start to the season in the Masters division, facing a very demanding challenge on the very first day. The team played two matches that day, in which, despite a closely fought contest and some truly fierce moments of competition, they ultimately had to concede defeat to their opponents. First, Fang Esport proved the better side, winning 10–13 on Mirage. VoFoxen then lost a very close encounter against WOWM3GA 11–13 on Ancient. This further highlighted just how narrow the margins were in these matches.
Both results may not have added any points to the table… However, the course of the matches themselves showed that the team is capable of genuinely competing with opponents at this level and is not significantly behind the rest of the field. The breakthrough finally came in the next round, when PARTYJNIAKI67 forfeited the match. This allowed VoFoxen Esports to secure their first win of the season and breathe a sigh of relief after a difficult start.
Their current 1–2 record means the team remains in close contact with the middle of the table. At the same time, they have plenty of opportunities ahead to improve their position in the coming rounds. The next such opportunity comes as early as this Sunday, when VoFoxen Esports face Locura Gatos. A win there would allow them to level their record and head into the remainder of the regular season with a much greater sense of calm and a more positive outlook.
Getting closer to the halfway point of the ArrMY season
Although not all teams have played four matches yet, ArrMY’s 16th season is slowly approaching the halfway point of the regular season. The results so far show that SuperionGG’s partners are performing really well. Nisla Rakov, Visionary and Constrict Gaming remain unbeaten in Rising B. NPK II maintains a positive record in Open. Meanwhile, despite suffering their first defeat, Vandals Clan remain among the very top of the Masters standings. VoFoxen Esports, on the other hand, have had a slightly tougher start. However, there are still many matches left before the end of the regular season that could shake up the league table. The coming days will bring further crucial matches for all our partners. There are many indications that the upcoming rounds could prove crucial in the battle for the highest possible seeding ahead of the decisive phase of the season.
