At ViBe Gaming, the last few months have been a real rollercoaster ride. As recently as early September, the organisation was saying goodbye to its then-current line-up, only to make a spectacular return to the scene shortly afterwards, at the end of the month, unveiling a new five-man squad brimming with ambition and fresh energy. This line-up played for a short but intense period. They started the season confidently, had their moments, moments of tension, flashes of form and real hopes that with this very five they would write another solid chapter. Unfortunately… Today we know that this story is ending sooner than many might have expected.
But hey… It’s ViBe, after all. And since one adventure has come to an end, who knows, maybe we’ll see a new five-man squad before Christmas? After all, Santa/Father Christmas (no offence, it could even be a gnome) apparently delivers presents in the form of CS2 line-ups too.
The team that was set to write a new chapter
The squad that ViBe Gaming unveiled at the end of September gave the impression, right from the start, of a project built with a clear vision. A mix of youth, ambition and solid individual skills gave hope that a new, very promising phase was opening up for the organisation. The players were still finding their feet, but even in the first few weeks it was clear they were playing with the energy ViBe needed after the summer reshuffle.

For the young squad, this was a signal that the project wasn’t just a ‘flash in the pan’, but had real ambitions to reach a higher level. Joint training sessions, the first friendlies, minor tweaks and fine-tuning the style of play. Everything pointed to ViBe focusing on step-by-step development. There was no revolution here, just laying the foundations that would pay off over time. It was with this squad that fans began to pin ever-greater hopes, counting on ViBe finally stabilising their form by the end of the year and showing their full potential.
ViBe Gaming’s achievements that shaped their identity
Although the project was short-lived, ViBe Gaming managed to achieve several significant milestones worth highlighting. The most important of these was qualifying for the Galaxy Cup playoffs. This achievement secured the team a place in the LAN final in Gdańsk. Their performance there proved to be solid. ViBe displayed mature gameplay, confirmed their form from online matches and progressed through the early stages of the tournament, reaching as far as the semi-finals. There, however, they were stopped by TNC.
The players also competed in ESEA Main, where, despite a few standout performances, the team failed to qualify for the playoffs. In addition, one of their stops was the Immunity League, where ViBe reached the quarter-finals. Unfortunately, they had to concede defeat to the Ice Age squad. However, considering they had only been playing together for a few months, the team recorded a fairly solid set of results, showing character and leaving their mark on the scene.
The end of a chapter that could have been the beginning
Yesterday, ViBe Gaming shared an official statement with fans, announcing the departure of the entire CS2 squad. The post was written in a highly emotional tone… With thanks for every training session together, for the battles on the server, and for the players becoming part of the ViBe family. It was a decision that didn’t come as a surprise to everyone, but it certainly moved those who had been following the project’s development with interest.
This farewell captures the mood of recent months well. Intense months, full of hard work, a search for stability, and the hope that this particular group of players would build something lasting. Although the project ultimately didn’t last long, it’s hard to deny this squad’s character and commitment. They left behind some truly solid performances. At times, they showed some very impressive CS2 and, above all, they didn’t get lost in the crowd. Anyone who followed their journey could see there was heart in it.
Could we have hoped for more? Perhaps. Was there potential? Definitely, but esports has its own rules. Nevertheless, ViBe’s history shows one thing. This organisation doesn’t like to stand still for long. They’ve already managed to surprise us a few times with a quick return to the game when it seemed they needed a longer break. And who knows, maybe this time it’ll be the same? Perhaps, before the smell of pierogi and borscht fills the air, we’ll see another five on their profiles, ready to fight for something new.

The organisation once again finds itself at a crossroads, but judging by its actions so far… it’s hard to expect a long period of silence. Regardless of the direction they choose now, recent months have shown that ViBe is not afraid of change, and treats every new project as an opportunity to build something better. This is a natural moment to catch their breath, take stock of what has worked, and consider the next steps. And when the time comes for a new chapter… The community will certainly be ready to follow it from the start.
