Another Sunday is behind us, which of course means the latest results from the ProLeague Polska first division. In today’s piece, we’ll be focusing on Ignite Esports’ performances. This is now the second article about this partner in the competition. The previous one covered their first six matches. In a nutshell, Ignite Esports have been performing consistently, and you can read more about the results of their first six matches in this article:
Not every team played their matches yesterday, so the league table may still change. Before yesterday, our partner had a record of 2-2-2, which is a relatively good record. Unfortunately, that only looked good before yesterday. Yesterday – Sunday – can definitely be counted among the worse days when it comes to Ignite Esports’ performances. The team lost all their matches, which resulted in them dropping down the table to 9th place out of a possible 12. At the moment, Ignite have a 3-point cushion above the relegation zone from the top-tier ProLeague. However, as we mentioned in our previous article, their rivals were on a different level; unfortunately, those words have proved true. Let’s hope the players bounce back quickly from these results and these matches, and that we’ll soon see Ignite fighting again.
1–9 vs. Spirit.us
0–5 vs. Cunning Foxes
2–3 vs. Angry Panthers
Whilst no one is to blame for the result against Cunning Foxes – as everyone knows what sort of team they are – the 1–9 defeat to Spirit.us comes as something of a surprise.
To see Ignite Esports back in action, we’ll have to wait until next Sunday (1 June). Then, our partner will take on teams such as YNG SKiLLZ, The Separatists and Angry Wolves. You could say this is a sort of ‘partner day’, as each of these teams is part of our partner programme.
Rounds 10–12 take place on 1 June
20:40 vs. YNG SKiLLZ (A.)
21:05 vs. The Separatists (H.)
21:30 vs. Angry Wolves (H.)
In our view, Ignite Esports’ best chance of securing 3 points lies in their matches against The Separatists, who are currently in the relegation zone, and against Angry Wolves. We’re not saying that three points against YNG are impossible, but on paper, this fixture seems the least likely to yield them.
