Panico eSports puts in a strong performance at the Plausible Gaming Champions Series

- -

Panico eSports decided to try their hand at the Plausible Gaming Champions Series and made their presence felt right from the start. The team breezed through the early stages of the competition, and their run only came to an end in the knockout phase. Although they didn’t make it all the way to the final, the team left a positive impression and showed that they can compete for the top spot.

How did Panico eSports’ tournament run go?

Panico eSports 1:0 Siriyci

Panico eSports 1:0 Taka

Our international partners began their campaign with two quick wins. First, the Siriyci team, and then Taka, failed to turn up for their matches, which gave Panico walkover victories and a guaranteed ticket to the next stage of the competition. Although it wasn’t the ideal start to the tournament in terms of the actual gameplay, it allowed the team to prepare calmly for the real challenges ahead.

Panico eSports 13:1 team_Ko-

Panico eSports 13:3 team_LuNari

After a quiet start and two walkovers, Panico finally had the chance to showcase their skills in the game. The first real test came on the Nuke map, where their opponents were team_Ko-. From the very start, Panico set the pace, dominating their opponents in every round. Aggressive pushes, solid defences and effective team play meant the opposition had virtually no chance of putting up a fight. The 13:1 scoreline speaks for itself – it was a one-sided affair that clearly showed who was in charge on the server.

The next stop was Ancient, where Panico faced team_LuNari. Although the opponents tried to put up more resistance, Panico remained in control of the match once again. Well-played rounds on the attack and excellent organisation on the defence allowed them to comfortably maintain their lead. The match ended 13-3, and the team confirmed that they hadn’t reached the knockout stage by chance.

End of the tournament adventure

Panico eSports 4:13 team_xtream6

In the battle for a semi-final spot, Panico eSports once again found themselves on Ancient, where their opponents were team_xtream6. This time, however, the match went very badly from the very start… The opponents quickly took control, and Panico couldn’t find a way to respond effectively. The first half ended 1-11, which practically sealed the match’s fate.

After the sides switched, the team managed to snatch a few rounds, but their opponents’ huge lead meant a comeback was out of the question. Ultimately, Panico lost 4:13, bowing out of the Plausible Gaming Champions Series at the quarter-final stage.

Summary of the tournament run

Although Panico eSports’ journey in the Plausible Gaming Champions Series ended in the quarter-finals, the team can regard this performance as a valuable experience. Two impressive victories in the group stage demonstrated the team’s potential and proved that Panico is capable of imposing its own style of play. The quarter-final against team_xtream6, however, highlighted areas that still need work in order to compete against more demanding opponents. The result does not, however, fully reflect the team’s effort, as they fought until the very end despite a difficult start. For Panico, this tournament may above all be an important step in building the team’s form and cohesion. If the team learns from this and maintains the positive momentum from previous matches, future performances could yield even better results.
