The first round of the Feather Cup has come to an end, and it provided fans with plenty of excitement right from the start. There were some comfortable wins for the favourites, but also a few results that could prove significant in the ongoing battle for promotion. For some teams, it was a solid start and a clear signal to their rivals, whilst others found themselves up against the wall right from the opening match and will have to chase the score in their next games. Feather Cup Group A – a strong start and the first warning signs
The competition in Group A has already produced some clear-cut results. Horizon Esports kicked off the tournament with a 13-8 victory over LHG, displaying solid and consistent play. This result gives them a good starting point ahead of their upcoming matches, whilst LHG must already look for ways to make up for their losses right from the start. The clash between Vyxon and Vandals Protect was full of excitement. The match ended 19-17, clearly demonstrating just how evenly matched the two sides were. Vyxon emerged victorious from this encounter, but both teams showed that they can pose a threat to anyone in the group.
Grupa Zawodnicza put in a very confident performance against wkeyenjoyers, winning 13-6. This was one of the more convincing victories of the round, which could prove significant for the rest of the group stage. VoFoxen put in an equally solid performance, defeating 404 13-7, controlling the match from start to finish.
SaTa eSports also kicked off the tournament with a win, beating GamersLab 13-9. It was a more evenly matched contest, but SaTa made better use of the key moments. Team Exceed, meanwhile, secured a 1-0 victory against NIC, allowing them to pick up some vital points. To round off the first round, Lunacy Gaming comfortably defeated InHooXiWeTrust 13-5, sending a clear signal that they will be a force to be reckoned with in the battle for the top spots. Sabre Gaming can also be pleased with their walkover victory against Equinox.
Group B – decisive victories and closely fought matches
Group B was also full of excitement right from the first matches. Atmosfera kicked off the tournament with a 13-9 win over Nexium POLteam, demonstrating their effectiveness in crucial rounds. Constrict Gaming put in an equally strong performance, defeating Vandals Clan 13-8 and securing a valuable victory. Meanwhile, SH4RKS secured a 1-0 win against Nobodys, allowing them to look forward to the next rounds with confidence. The clash between Visionary and Strzał z Bonia also attracted a lot of attention. Here, Strzał z Bonia proved the better side, winning 13-8 and showing good form right from the start.
Ananaski comfortably defeated Spermiki Ludziki 13–5, recording one of the more one-sided matches in this group. Naturally, Carpathian Roja can also be pleased following their walkover against Made In Poland. Furthermore, FeedTheEgo won 13–8 against Lunacy NXT, controlling the flow of the match and effectively scoring against their opponents. To round off the round, 95Vikings defeated NIC Academy 13–6, confirming their aspirations to compete for the top spots. Thus, the first round in Group B clearly showed that the competition will be fierce, and every subsequent match could significantly affect the league table.

The opening round of the Feather Cup proved that there is no room for a slow start in this tournament. Some teams have already laid solid foundations for the promotion race.
