We’re slowly approaching the halfway point of the 54th ESEA season, so it’s high time to take another look at how Constrict Gaming are faring in the Main division. In our previous article, we summarised their first three matches. Today, we’ll take a look at the next three matches the team has already played. So far, Constrict have played six matches and boast a 3–3 record. Whilst this result isn’t exactly mind-blowing, it’s worth remembering that one of the players recently ‘parted ways’ with the team in a rather unusual manner.
Despite this unusual situation, Constrict isn’t letting up and continues to show that it can compete at a solid level. See for yourselves how they fared in their most recent matches.

Constrict Gaming 7:13 :ua: The le Bobix | Nuke
The first of three matches didn’t go to Constrict Gaming’s plan. Despite an evenly matched first half, which ended in a 6:6 draw, the second half of the match was decidedly less successful. Their opponents seized the initiative and dictated the pace of the game, winning round after round. Constrict managed to respond only once, resulting in a final score of 7:13. Despite a promising start, the team failed to maintain their rhythm after the break, which ultimately sealed their defeat in this clash.

Young Stars Talents | Nuke
In the second match, Constrict faced the well-known Young Stars team, who are also one of our partners. The match was once again played on Nuke, but this time YS Talents took the initiative from the outset. By half-time, they were already leading 4:8, having successfully built up a comfortable lead. After the break, the situation did not improve for Constrict, who managed to win just one round. Young Stars Talents put in a very solid performance, displaying a well-organised, consistent style of play that left no room for a potential comeback from their opponents.
Constrict Gaming 13:7 🇹🇷 ex-Altay Espor | Overpass
In the third match, the breakthrough finally came. Constrict Gaming, now fielding a stand-in player, put in a very solid performance on Overpass. Although the first half once again ended in a 6:6 draw, the second half of the match clearly belonged to our partners. After the side change, Constrict began to completely dominate the map, leaving their opponents with very little room to manoeuvre. ex-Altay Espor managed to add just one round to their tally, and the match ended in a confident 13:7 victory for Constrict Gaming. This is an important sign that, despite squad issues, the team still has the potential to compete for good results.
