How many times has this happened now? This is the second time since we began working together that our partner has undergone a rebrand and changes to its management team. We’re talking, of course, about the former Clutch Masters, the creators of the Counter-Strike 2 amateur team rankings. The organisation has once again changed its name and logo. One might draw a parallel with the film *Back to the Future*, as from today the community is called: UNDERGROUND | CS2 Community. It has also reverted to its old logo, although it has been slightly revamped.

Rankings
We will not be removing the ranking entries from before the Clutch Masters era; they will remain, and the first update to the UNDERGROUND | CS2 Community ranking will be treated as the next ranking update, even though the points will be recalculated.
From what we’ve learnt, the points system will be more or less the same as it was during the Clutch Masters era. However, the rankings will be calculated from scratch, as most teams no longer exist.
Points are awarded depending on the tournament’s tier. For example: a team will not receive the same number of points for winning a match in ESEA Open10 as it would for winning a match in ESEA Main. One of the changes compared to Clutch Masters and previous rankings is that, from now on, tournaments are not assigned a tier. This means that, for example, according to UNDERGROUND CS2, a team will earn 20 points for winning a match in tournament X. However, a month later in tournament Y, it may no longer be 20 points. In fact, everything depends on the ranking moderators, so it could be said that the ranking does not have fixed scoring rules.
Every system has its drawbacks, which is surely why the management decided to take an individual approach to each tournament. This approach is based on several factors.
We leave it up to you, the readers, to judge whether this is a good system or not, and whether it has more advantages than disadvantages.

Changes to the management team
Along with the change – or rather, the return – of the logo and name, the entire management team has changed. We won’t be publishing nicknames or full names here. We can only say that the project’s CEO has changed; you can find out the rest for yourselves on their Discord.
We hope this is the final change of direction, rebranding – call it what you will – regarding this project. Nobody really likes it when something is scrapped several times and rebuilt from scratch, do they?
Why are you publishing ‘someone else’s’ ranking?
Not ‘someone else’s’, but our partner’s; although it’s not out of the question that, in the future, should we no longer have such a partnership, we might produce a ranking of our own. We do hope, however, that this time won’t come, and that this partnership will be a long one.

At the moment, we’re primarily focusing on growing our community and want as many people as possible to join, whilst ensuring there’s plenty of activity; we also have lots of interesting and fun events planned for our server’s users. The ranking will remain almost exactly the same; the only change is that points will be forfeited if teams are inactive. We also have many more people who will be managing it, so we’re planning weekly updates. This change has been made because the ranking itself hadn’t been updated for a long time and there are many teams listed there that have since disbanded.
