The regular season of the 53rd ESEA Intermediate season was a real showcase of SLAKE’s consistent form and steady play. The team finished the regular season with a 10–4 record, securing them a place in the A bracket of the play-offs, which means automatic promotion to the Main division. Throughout the season, SLAKE recorded some strong victories, including against Smalsiai, Arrow NXT, Altay Espor and Team Phoenix. The team displayed solid play both in attack and defence, which translated into a secure position in the table.
Of course, there were some tougher moments too. Defeats against rivals such as RoadToTokyo, REAL esports and Albin The Gang showed that the competition was demanding, and every match mattered. Despite this, SLAKE remained focused right to the very end and proved that they are ready for the next level of competition. Now it’s time for the play-offs, but they can already celebrate promotion to the higher division, which is a huge step forward in the team’s development.

Constrict Gaming finished the regular season of ESEA Intermediate Season 53 with a very respectable record of 9 wins and 5 losses, securing them a place in the B bracket of the play-offs. Throughout the season, the team showed character and effectiveness, securing important victories against, amongst others, Infinity, PhaSe Team, VIVID and FLAMENCOS in a hard-fought, long and thrilling match. Their offence and teamwork on the server repeatedly made the difference in crucial rounds.
Although they fell one win short of advancing directly to the upper bracket like SLAKE, Constrict Gaming still have a realistic chance of promotion to the Main Division. However, tougher knockout matches await them in the lower half of the play-offs. Defeats against teams such as mCon esports, REAL esports and Zearless were certainly painful, but also likely to be motivating. If the team can maintain the form they showed in their best matches of the season and learn from their previous encounters, they can still achieve a great deal. The most crucial part of the season lies ahead, and everything is still in their own hands!
SLAKE did a brilliant job in the regular season and deservedly start the play-offs from Bracket A. Constrict Gaming, on the other hand, will be fighting for their place from a slightly tougher position, but the season has shown that they’re not afraid of any challenges. Both teams face decisive matches that could open the door to a higher division.
This is the moment when every detail, every round and every decision counts. We’re keeping our fingers crossed and believe that both teams will show what they’re capable of time and time again.
