YNG SKiLLZ face Los Galacticos in the VPG Championship B

When we last wrote about YNG SKiLLZ in the European VPG Cups (EA Sports FC 26), they had played just five matches. Since that article, they’ve played a further 31. How has our partner’s situation changed on the international stage? To start with, we can reveal that the change has been positive: YNG SKiLLZ have climbed a few places in the rankings and, to put it briefly, their form is looking increasingly strong – at least in the European region.

15 matches without defeat

YNG SKiLLZ are currently on a run of 15 matches without defeat. This incredible run began following a 0–2 defeat to Volta Calcio. After that match, it was as if a new lease of life had been breathed into the team, and since then they haven’t conceded three points to any opponent. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the run continues. What’s more, if we look at YNG’s results, it seems our partner deserves these outcomes, often thrashing their opponents.

Solid defence, even better attack

It’s also worth noting that our partner currently has a goal difference of +24. Opponents have had to pick the ball out of the net 57 times, whilst our partner have done so 33 times. Is that a lot? Is that a lot? It’s hard to say, though matches such as the one against Re Surge X, where our partner scored 5 goals, have had the greatest impact on this tally, whilst the match against DEVILS XI had an even greater influence. Not only did they manage to keep a clean sheet, but the opposition also found the back of the net four times.

There’s still a long way to go for us fans…

There are still 12 matchdays left until the end of the first season in EA FC 26, so the league table is nowhere near final. Sure… we’re closer to the end than the start, but that doesn’t mean YNG will finish the season in fifth place. We’d love to see the team get promoted, but fifth place won’t be a disappointment for them, especially as, after a mediocre start and mid-season, they’ve managed to put together a pretty good run of results.

Yesterday, YNG faced Les Olympiens and AIA Esports – the former at 9.45 pm and the latter at 10.15 pm. Unfortunately, money doesn’t grow on trees, so you’ll find a recap of these matches in our next article. Due to the late kick-off times for these matches, we’ve decided to cover them in future articles. We hope you’ll forgive us for this.
