We are currently in the era of summer leagues and tournaments in EA Sports FC 25. The clubs section will gradually transition to the new version. We’ll probably see our partners in the new version in about two months’ time, provided the league organisers ‘get a move on’. The summer leagues are a time for experimentation, so the reserve players are no doubt delighted.
YNG SKiLLZ
Today we’ll be checking in on how our partner — YNG SKiLLZ — is getting on in the next summer league, or rather, the summer cup. This cup is organised by Miami Esports and ProLeague Polska. The tournament features a double-elimination bracket system, which isn’t all that common among EAFC clubs. As you can see, it’s not just the clubs that can experiment – the organisers can too.
The clash against Loco Villanos
In the first round, our partner had to face Loco Villanos. Matches in this cup are played in a best-of-three (BO3) format. If the first two matches end in a draw, a third match is played on neutral ground. Was a third match needed in this tie? Unfortunately not; Loco Villanos won both matches – the first 2–1 and the second 2–0.
YNG SKiLLZ
Our performance wasn’t bad, but the results were decided by minor mistakes which our opponents capitalised on. We’ll clear our heads and carry on working.

Last chance
YNG aren’t out yet. Thanks to the double-elimination format, the team’s players have dropped into the lower bracket. There’s no room for error there. A defeat means elimination from the tournament. To reach the tournament final, they’ll need to play at 200% of their ability. YNG SKiLLZ have found out who their opponent is. The organisers have set the date for the second round of the lower bracket for 18 August 2025. We don’t know the exact time at the moment, but you’ll no doubt find out via our partner’s social media. Right, but who are they actually playing? Our partner will be taking on Coco Gang.
