The 12th season of Arrma has recently kicked off, bringing with it plenty of excitement. We now know the results of the Young Stars Talents’ first matches. So far, they have played three matches, finishing with a record of 2-1, and currently sit top of the Masters league. But will they manage to hold onto that position?
How did the Young Stars’ matches go?
- Prime Bulls 16:19 Young Stars Talents, Mirage
- Young Stars Talents 4:13 Armitra Esports, Mirage
- Young Stars Talents 19:17 Pandemoniumgg, Mirage
Despite the positive result, the Young Stars had considerable trouble seeing their matches through to the end. They played their first match against Prime Bulls, but it did not go as they might have hoped. The encounter was extremely close and full of tense moments, and YoungStars only secured the final victory after two gruelling overtime periods.
The second match, this time against Armitra Esports, proved to be an exceptionally tough challenge. Their opponents, who have been in excellent form recently, set the pace from the very start and effectively dominated the game. Young Stars Talents failed to find an effective response to their opponents’ aggression and had to accept a crushing defeat, winning just four rounds. Armitra, on the other hand, showed that they are one of the main contenders for the championship title.
The third and, so far, final match also did not go to plan. Once again, two extra time periods were needed to decide the winner, which can only confirm that YoungStars have a problem closing out matches within regulation time. Despite everything, they managed to emerge victorious from this battle, though the manner in which they achieved it certainly leaves much to be desired.
What’s next in the Army Masters?
- vs menszczysni
Only one team remains from the first draw of opponents. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait a little longer to find out the exact date of the match, but one thing is certain – they’ll face the menszczysni team. Meanwhile, on 28 February, we’ll find out who the next opponents are who will stand in the YoungStars’ way.
The YoungStars’ performances so far do not inspire optimism, and if they want to be in contention for the top spots, a thorough analysis of their mistakes will be necessary. They must not only improve their effectiveness at crucial moments, but also work on the consistency of their play to avoid tense finishes and close out matches more quickly and confidently. The upcoming matches will be a real test of their character.
