1. Firewolf Clan in the ARRMY Open.

Firewolf Clan is an organisation that fought for a place in the ARRMY Rising league, but after an unsuccessful run in the play-offs, they failed to qualify and must now compete in the Open league once again to fight for a place in ARRMY Rising, which they are surely eager to secure.

Today we’ll summarise Firewolf Clan’s matches in the ARRMY Open so far:

• 13:2 vs. Wszoku Gaming, Mirage
• 13:0 vs. Wojownicy Pola, Mirage
• 13:6 vs. N-C

Firewolf remains unrivalled in the Open League and it doesn’t look as though that’s going to change. Firewolf is once again confidently marching towards its place in ARRMY Rising and it would seem that this time they will succeed without any trouble; nevertheless, we will have to wait a little longer for the answer, especially as we are only at the start of the Open League matches.

2. Armitra starts the season with two defeats in ESEA Main

Last season, Armitra secured their long-awaited promotion to ESEA Main. The promotion had been anticipated for five seasons and was preceded by numerous changes. Nevertheless, it is now time to prove that this promotion was no fluke and that they can maintain such a high standard. For the time being, however, the start has not been promising.

Armitra kicked off the season with a match against the Ukrainian side Invictus. We expected a closely contested encounter, and that is exactly what we saw. The fierce battle between the two teams took us all the way to overtime, where our opponents managed to win by the narrowest of margins, 16–14. Thus, our partner began the season with a defeat and a 0–1 record.

The second match and a chance to bounce back came two days later. That’s when our partner faced the international team kaboom crocs on the de_ancient map. Here, the opponents were the clear favourites, judging by the ELO scores on their profiles. These predictions proved accurate, as kaboom crocs won 13:10, leaving Armitra with a 0:2 record.

Armitra now face a really tough comeback from an unfavourable record, although we saw a similar situation last season and our favourites still managed to pull through.

3. Superion Gaming is going through a rough patch

Superion Gaming has been playing with an unchanged line-up for several months, yet the results do not reflect this, and our partner is performing very poorly compared to other teams that have spent less time together. A 0:4 record and elimination in the first round of the WinnersGG playoffs do not bode well.

13 January marked the start of the ESEA Open10 season for Superion. They played their first match against Reveal TackX. It was a close contest, but ultimately, they suffered a 0-1 defeat. Next came the match against the underground Polish organisation GRIN Esports. There, too, our partner suffered a defeat, also by a score of 11:13.

The following week arrived, bringing hope of turning the 0:2 record around. Our partner kicked off the week with a match against SwagLordsDeluxe. This match also failed to change the record, adding another defeat, this time without a fight. The second and final match of the second week was played two days ago, though unsurprisingly, it ended in a 2:13 defeat.

Now Superion will face KAMKGG and TrShadows10. If we don’t see a fight in these matches either, who knows, perhaps changes are needed?

4. The Bulls Team 7 points from 3 matches in the VPG Poland league.

The Bulls Team is in the home stretch of the VPG Poland league; their last 3 league matches have yielded 7 out of a possible 9 points, placing the Bulls in 5th place in the table with 2 rounds remaining. The Bulls currently have 70 points, with a record of 21 wins, 7 draws and 3 defeats.

5. Ignite Esports with a full points tally

A few days ago, Ignite Esports took to social media to introduce the new and returning faces joining their ranks. The first is goalkeeper Mateusz “Wesoły” Wesołowski, who most recently played for OKS Otwock e-Sport. The next player is Taz, and no, it’s not Wiktor “Taz” Wojtas, but Tomasz “Taz” Zeman, who will be playing in midfield. Taz isn’t the only midfielder to have joined our partner’s ranks; his new teammate will be Szumi, who previously played for Passion FC.

At the moment, Ignite Esports sit in 3rd place in the VPG Poland third division. They have 70 points to their name, with 23 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats. It is worth noting that the team in second place (KS JASIE) have the same number of points, but that could change as early as tomorrow, as Ignite Esports are set to face them.

6. AWARDS 2024: YNG SKiLLZ, The Bulls Team, Miami Esports

We continue to present the nominees for the “Superiongg Awards 2024”. Voting begins on 6 January. Among the nominees for Team of the Year are: YNG SKiLLZ, The Bulls Team, Miami Esports

YNG SKiLLZ is a virtual football club founded in 2023, focusing primarily on FC24/25 competitions. The club has a division in individual 1v1 competitions as well as in 11v11 WK competitions; it is also worth mentioning the six-a-side football team. At the start, the club was led by ‘El Killero’ with support from ‘Pricket’; over time, ‘BoskiTomasz’ became the new captain. YNG SKiLLZ’s statistics and achievements in 2024:

• 57 draws
• Goals scored: 594
• Goals conceded: 376

YNG SKiLLZ’s successes:

• 7th place in the mini-league
• 4th place in the finals of the VPG Polish Cup LAN tournament held in Gdańsk
• 5 YNG players represented the Polish national team.

The Bulls Team is a fresh creation from crossplay – the only team with a member who doesn’t play, but manages everything with an objective eye, free from cronyism – PrinceHoke. Season after season, we’re making incredible progress that allows us to compete for the highest goals, as demonstrated by our current position in Poland’s top division – the VPG 1st League. We have excellent internal organisation with clearly defined roles and responsibilities, as well as players who are top-ranked in their respective positions and have previously represented Poland. We contribute significantly to the development of smaller clubs by helping them, and we also organise mini-tournaments for the scene every Friday and Sunday, all thanks to Davci. 7. Armitra back on track in ESEA Main

Armitra had a very poor start to the 53rd season of ESEA Main, suffering two defeats (more on that HERE). Now, however, after another two weeks, the record doesn’t look quite so dire. They managed to win three matches, though they also suffered a defeat.

They started with a win against Esprots, who forfeited the match. Their next opponent was the Lithuanian-Latvian team Mighty Wolves. Here we saw a lot of action on the de_dust 2 map, but after 23 rounds, the match went to our partner, who thus levelled their record to 2:2.

In the next match, Armitra were fighting to get back to a positive record. Their opponents were the Norwegian organisation Center Gaming. It was just as evenly matched as the previous encounter, but in the end our partner secured the win, triumphing 13-8. As a result, Armitra turned their 0-2 record into a 3-2 one, giving them hope of staying up or even fighting for a place in the playoffs.

All good things must come to an end. In the most recent match played so far, our partner faced a Russian opponent, namely MSTTT. This clash also took place on the de_ancient map. This time, things didn’t go so well for Armitra, and they succumbed to their rivals in a one-sided match with a score of 5:13. As a result, our partner returned to a 3:3 record and the battle to remain in the second-best ESEA league.

8. Armitra lose in the Arrmy Masters semi-finals

Having made it to the “Arrmy Masters” playoffs, Armitra were certainly hoping to reach at least the semi-finals. Did they manage it, and where did they ultimately finish?

Their first match in the playoffs was due to be against the team $$ from PLE (formerly Soul’s Heart), but the match did not take place due to the opposing team disbanding. As a result, Armitra achieved their minimum goal in the playoffs without playing a single match.

In the next match, the unfortunate Armitra faced B2TG, who currently dominate the Polish Underground tournaments and are ranked 7th among the best Polish teams by Cybersport. Unsurprisingly, Armitra failed to put up sufficient resistance and the match ended 0:2 (Dust 2: 5:13, Vertigo 9:13).

Armitra thus ends their campaign in the ‘Army Masters’ season at the semi-finals of the play-offs. This is a good result, considering the teams they had to face.

9. CobraTeam unveils its academy squad.

On 21 June, CobraTeam unveiled the line-up for its Counter-Strike 2 academy. The players are currently competing in the 10th season of the ARRMY Open, where they have a 2-0 record.

10. Gloris eSport eliminated from Galaxy Cup: Reborn Edition 3.

Gloris is an organisation that usually likes to dominate in various tournaments and leagues. However, in the current edition of the Galaxy Cup, the Gloris eSports players did not win any of their three guaranteed matches, resulting from the triple-elimination format.

Gloris’s rivals included teams such as Grin Esports, Awaken Esport and Skill Effect. Ultimately, none of these teams were defeated by Gloris, meaning the team’s players had to end their campaign sooner than they had anticipated.
