The week isn’t over yet, but Armitra Esports has already given fans plenty of thrills. We’re now at the halfway point of the ESEA Intermediate tournament, and following a hard-fought match, the players have secured their second win in a row. Their current record stands at 3–4. The score is almost even, but they still need one more win. How will the lads fare in tomorrow’s match? Will it be 4:4, followed by a battle for the top of the table and perhaps a bid to promote to a higher division? We’ll find out tomorrow.
Armitra’s 7th match. A hard-fought battle, ultimately won!

The start of the match didn’t look too promising, with the opponents quickly taking a 0–3 lead. Even in the pistol round, Armitra struggled; despite taking a 4–2 lead and planting the bomb, they failed to secure the round. Thanks to the bonus for planting the bomb, the decision was made to force the second round. They managed to secure the bombsite again, but the counter-terrorists’ rotation was too quick and the round was closed out shortly after the plant. The third round was a bit of a struggle, but there was an attempt to play a full round. However, it was easily lost.
The next round saw a risky decision to repurchase weapons, resulting in as many as four AK-47s and one Tec-9 for Pr3lo. The Armitra Esports players were looking to capitalise on this, as there was a shortage of grenades – only two smoke grenades in that round. But as you can see, taking risks sometimes pays off, and so the first round went to the terrorists.
A round like this certainly boosted the players’ confidence, allowing them to quickly level the score and even take a 4–3 lead. As a result, in the 8th round, they forced their opponents into an economy round. Despite being worse equipped, the opponents posed a threat with an unexpected attempt to push through the mid lane, where they secured as many as two eliminations. Zireael saved the round by leaving Pr3lo and Rvdi in a 2-on-2 situation, where, despite minor problems, they managed to close out the round with a victory.
The following rounds were very evenly matched, won alternately by Hummingbird and Armitra. Ultimately, the first half ended 6–6. It was a solid result, allowing our players to close out the entire map more easily. Looking at the final score, however, the match remained very tight and evenly matched.
The second pistol round went to Armitra Esports, whilst the next round was played economically by the opposition. There were only a few better pistol rounds on the attacking side, but despite this, they managed to pose a threat, securing the bombsite and leaving Pr3lo in a 1v2 clutch situation. Despite such an unfavourable situation, Pr3lo clinched the round, bringing the score to 8–6.
It was time for the opponents’ first full round; unfortunately, they secured it easily, forcing Armitra to play with inferior gear. Only two weapons were taken there, and the score stood at 8:8. The counter-terrorists then played a fully economic round, in which there was only one elimination.
The score was 8:9; the CTs were back to full kit and won the round comfortably. However, this was still not enough to force the opponents to play with inferior kit. This round was once again easily secured by Armitra, who regained the lead with a score of 10:9. And finally, the opponent’s economic round, with just one ‘Scout’. Then came the misguided decision to go Long, where Zireel was positioned, which allowed the counter-terrorists to win the eleventh round.
The defence in this match was certainly impressive; it was time for the 21st round, with both sides fielding full squads. Despite conceding the entry, Armitra secured the next round and three match points, whilst the opposition had only Galils and a ‘Scout’. Unfortunately, despite the obvious weaknesses on the attacking side, they were still unable to close out the map. The CT team, keen to wrap up the match quickly, decided to go all-in. They secured a 3-2 lead, but it wasn’t enough to end the match.
In the final round, ahead of a potential overtime, their economy allowed them to play with rifles, though there were some gaps in their arsenal. At that point, there was one Famas and four M4s. However, Armitra Esports loves to finish matches in extraordinary fashion. Just as they did last time, when they managed to win the match through an economy round, so too now, despite having inferior gear, they secured a well-earned 4-3 lead. But the opponents responded very quickly, and Rvdi pulled off a 1-on-2 clutch, though the opponent was badly damaged, which allowed them to finish the match with a score of 13–11.

Tomorrow, the Armitra Esports players will face the Russian side MVP Cyber Team, whilst next week they will take on the German team FruchtLaborMain and the European side 5DEMON, which features a majority of French players.
