What does the first round of Immunity League: 2026 look like?
The opening round of Immunity League: 2026 takes place from 23 to 26 February in a BO1 format. This means that each match consists of just one map that decides the outcome. Additionally, this favours teams that are well-prepared tactically and can get into the match quickly, whilst limiting the opportunity to make up for any mistakes. In practice, this means that even the opening matches can produce surprising results, and the favourites are not entirely at ease. As a result, the season-opening round often becomes a stage for surprises, closely contested matches and dramatic moments that immediately set the tone for the entire season. The first round will feature the following fixtures:
- The Night Club vs Do Chrzanu
- Constrict Gaming vs Draże
- Imperishable vs WolfTeamGuys
- Vibe Gaming vs Pest Esport
- Armitra Esports vs Onyx
- VoFoxen Esport vs Ananaski
- Superion Gaming vs Vandals Clan
- 95 Vikings vs FeedTheEgo
As such, the first round of the Immunity League: 2026 promises to be extremely exciting. Naturally, the spotlight is on The Night Club, who claimed the title in the previous edition and are now set to defend it. The team will have to face both well-known rivals… and those looking to make their mark straight away. Additionally, the Czech side Imperishable joins the line-up, bringing an international flavour to the tournament and raising the level of competition.
The first round is also an opportunity to highlight our partners. The line-up includes teams such as Constrict Gaming, PEST Esport, VoFoxen, Superion Gaming and Vandals Clan. Their presence is sure to make for some exciting clashes. The results of these matches will determine the initial standings and set the tone for the subsequent rounds, where every decision will be crucial.
Competition format and schedule
The current edition of the Immunity League: 2026 is played using the Swiss system, which immediately lends the competition a high level of dynamism. The first two rounds (23–26 February and 27 February–2 March) will be played in a BO1 format, making every match full of tension… Where even a single mistake, a moment of distraction, or a brilliant play by an opponent can instantly change the course of the match. Even at this stage, the favourites must prove their class. Meanwhile, the others have a chance to spring a surprise and quickly make their mark on the league. Such clashes immediately reveal the character of the teams and set the tone for the entire season.
From Round 3 (3–6 March), the BO3 format comes into play, with the first promotion spots at stake. Longer series allow teams to demonstrate their tactical preparation, ability to adapt to opponents, and consistency in play. This is also the moment when it becomes clear which teams can maintain a high standard of play under pressure. Every map becomes a crucial element here. Meanwhile, a win or loss in a BO3 series can drastically alter the chances of progressing further.
The subsequent rounds (Round 4: 7–10 March and Round 5: 11–14 March) will also be played as BO3s, meaning that the teams that can withstand the pressure will take the lead. Conversely, the less prepared squads will be eliminated from the tournament. Thanks to this format, it will be clear from the very first days of the season who has made a strong start to the competition… The subsequent switch to longer series allows the most stable and tactically mature teams to emerge.
