The underground scene can change very rapidly… Some projects emerge, develop, and sometimes disappear from the radar after a while. Unfortunately, the time has come when we must say goodbye, at least for a while, to one of our partners. We are, of course, talking about the band Victoria Nostra. Over the past few months, the team has been a regular feature in our coverage. From the first reports of their matches right through to subsequent updates on the squad or results, we have been able to observe the development of a project that has consistently sought to establish its position on the scene.
The team returned to active competition in mid-2025 and has since been trying to re-establish its presence in the league. In the months that followed, Victoria Nostra managed to achieve several significant milestones, as well as undergo numerous squad changes. Now, however, the project is being put on hold, marking the end of a certain phase for the organisation and its players. Before we move on to the current situation, however, it is worth recalling the journey the team has undertaken in recent months.
Victoria Nostra’s journey – from Entry to Intermediate
Although Victoria Nostra returned to the scene around July/August 2025, the team began appearing on our pages a little later. Around September, to be precise. At that time, the team was competing in the ESEA league, starting their journey in the Entry division. The first few weeks, however, showed that the squad had ambitions to fight for something more. The team displayed a solid level of play, gradually building their position in the table. Regular victories and consistent form allowed the players to finish the season with a result that secured their promotion to a higher division.
For ViNo, this was an important step forward. Promotion to ESEA Intermediate confirmed that the project is developing in the right direction and can compete against increasingly strong opponents. For the players, it was also an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a more demanding competitive environment. After all, moving up to a higher division always involves greater competition and the need to maintain a high level of performance in every match. However, this was not the only occasion on which the team could boast a good result.
During this period, Victoria Nostra also took part in the Underground Rivals tournament. The team performed very well there, reaching the final of the competition. Although they ultimately failed to secure the title, second place in the tournament was another positive sign for the entire project. Reaching the final alone was proof that the team could also hold its own in a tournament format and compete against teams fighting for the top spots. It is also worth noting that during those months, Victoria Nostra regularly featured in various competitions. This allowed the players to gain further experience, whilst the project itself gradually built its recognition within the community.
Thanks to these results, Victoria Nostra was an active participant on the scene for several months and a project that consistently built its legacy. Promotion in the league and strong tournament performances meant the team could look forward to further development with optimism.
Numerous squad changes during the season
Aside from sporting results, recent months within ViNo’s ranks have also been a period of numerous changes. When the team began its journey after returning to the scene, the starting five consisted of: Wejar, Falik, Syude, STN and Tizzy. However, this was not a line-up that lasted long. One of the first changes we reported on was Syude’s departure from the active squad. His place in the team was taken by Remi, who joined the squad as a new player. Interestingly, Syude did not disappear from the project entirely. Shortly after leaving the active five, it was announced that he would take on the role of team coach. Thus, he remained part of Victoria Nostra, supporting the players in a different capacity.
Further changes followed in the weeks that followed. The organisation announced that STN was leaving the squad, marking another significant shift in the team’s structure. For the team, this meant having to readjust the squad and seek stability. However, the changes did not end there. With the start of the new year, another personnel decision was announced. This time, Wejar left the project. It was another moment of team restructuring, as the team continued to seek the optimal player configuration.
Although only some of this information appeared in our publications, the reality brought several more moves. At one point, Tizzy found himself on the substitutes’ bench, and the organisation decided to strengthen the squad. Among other things, this involved bringing STN back into the fold and welcoming Fang to the team. It was in this configuration that the team operated during the final period of its activity, continuing to compete in the league and representing the colours of Victoria Nostra.
A new chapter for the players
The suspension of Victoria Nostra’s activities marks the end of a certain phase for both the organisation and the players who have represented its colours over the past few months. The project, which returned to the scene in 2025 and managed to record several interesting moments in its history, is ceasing to operate in its current form for the time being. However, this does not mean the end of the team’s journey together. The players are not left without an organisation… The team has been taken over by another partner of our portal, specifically PEST Esport.
Thanks to this, the players will be able to continue their activities under new colours, beginning the next chapter of their story on the scene. For fans, this in turn means the opportunity to continue following their performances, albeit within a different organisation. Time will tell how the future unfolds for both Victoria Nostra itself and the players who have made up this project over the past few months.
