This week in Season 52 of the ESEA Intermediate certainly wasn’t Constrict Gaming’s best. First, they lost a hard-fought match to Sashi’s academy, only to hand the map over to AETERNUM without putting up a fight. The team currently has a rather poor record of 4-4. All that remains now is to hope for an improvement in results and perhaps a 6-4 record by the end of next week.
A crushing defeat for Constrict Gaming
- Constrict Gaming 3:13 AETERNUM, Ancient
Wednesday proved to be an exceptionally difficult day for Constrict Gaming. On that day, they faced the Russian team AETERNUM. Unfortunately, the match ended disastrously for Constrict, who lost 3:13. Their opponents encountered no major difficulties in this encounter, which only added to the fans’ frustration.
The first half of the match saw a surprising dominance from AETERNUM. They finished this part of the game with a score of 2:10, which was clear evidence of their superiority over their rivals. Constrict managed to win only two rounds, which could not have been satisfying for either the players or their supporters. Seeing the team lose by such a huge margin was certainly frustrating. It seemed that the Constrict players lacked a sufficient strategy to effectively counter their opponents. Their lack of effectiveness on the server was evident and gave pause for thought.
The second half of the match, however, brought no change. Constrict Gaming won just one round, which only deepened their defeat. As a result, they were ten rounds down, which clearly indicated their weaker form compared to their rivals, and the 3:13 score was nothing to be proud of. AETERNUM controlled the situation on the server throughout, whilst Constrict failed to show their full potential. Fans might have hoped for an improvement in the second half, but unfortunately, expectations of a better result were not met. The Constrict Gaming players must now reflect on their mistakes to improve their skills and strategy for upcoming matches.
