As we’ve mentioned on more than one occasion, the Counter-Strike 2 scene, particularly at the semi-professional and amateur levels, rarely stands still. Each passing week brings roster changes, the end of projects, and new initiatives that have the potential to shake things up. This is no different for the organisations we work with. The last few days have brought a wealth of significant news. From Vandals Clan announcing a new line-up, to the end of the current TW E-sports project… Right through to personnel and organisational changes in teams such as Lunacy Gaming, PEST Esport and VoFoxen. There’s been a lot going on recently. Added to this is Superion Gaming’s decision to begin the search for a new squad to represent the organisation in the upcoming competitions. So let’s take a look at the most important changes of recent days and see exactly what has happened with our partners.
Vandals Clan unveils new roster
The Vandals Clan organisation has officially unveiled its new squad, which will now represent its colours in the upcoming competitions. The announcement accompanying the team’s presentation emphasised, above all, a new chapter in the organisation’s history and a desire to return to active competition on the scene. As noted in the statement, the players face many challenges. However, both the organisation and the players themselves are ready to work hard and fight for further victories. Vandals Clan hopes that this new project will help build a stable team that, over time, will be able to make its mark in league competitions and tournaments.
The new Vandals line-up consists of: TerqS, xevis, Hubi, Foxje and DaNio. For some observers of the scene, these names may already be well known, as the players previously competed together under the Horizon Esports banner. This means that the team has not been built from scratch, but is already a well-established collective with shared experience behind them. This kind of continuity often proves crucial when changing organisations, as it allows the team to focus on further development… rather than building basic communication or game structure.
The Vandals Clan announcement also highlighted the players’ immense commitment and their passion for esports, which is set to be one of the cornerstones of the entire project. The organisation hopes that the team will quickly settle into their new colours and begin to showcase their potential in upcoming matches. For fans, this means another team worth keeping an eye on in the coming weeks. Especially if the players are able to transfer their existing experience to this new environment and gradually develop as a team.
TW E-sports ceases operations
Somewhat less optimistic news has come from the TW E-sports organisation. An official statement announced that the current Counter-Strike 2 squad is disbanding. Over the past few months, the team has represented the organisation in various leagues and tournaments, building its standing on the scene and gaining valuable experience in competing against other teams.
The immediate reason for the project’s closure was the decision of one of the team’s key players, n4t3k, who decided to end his involvement with the game. As highlighted in the organisation’s statement, he had been part of the project from the very beginning and played a significant role in its development. His decision naturally influenced the team’s future, which is ceasing to operate in its current form. The organisation noted, however, that this had been a period of intense work, development and many important moments for the entire squad.
It is worth noting that the TW E-sports squad has achieved several significant successes in recent months. The team secured victory in the Steel League and also had a very solid season in the ESEA Open league, finishing with a record of 11 wins and just 3 defeats. Added to this were successful performances in the Army Open and numerous victories in league competitions. In its statement, the organisation thanked all the players for their contribution, commitment and for representing TW E-sports. It also emphasised that whilst a certain phase of the team’s activities is coming to an end, the organisation’s history itself need not end there.
Superion Gaming begins search for new squad
One of the most interesting pieces of news in recent days is Superion Gaming’s decision to begin the search for a new team to represent the organisation in league and tournament competitions in the future. The published announcement details an open recruitment drive aimed at full squads… Preferably those that already have shared gaming experience and function as a well-coordinated team. The organisation clearly states that it is looking for a team ready for a long-term project, which will allow them to gradually develop and compete at an increasingly higher level.
The offer prepared by Superion Gaming includes several elements designed to help the team operate smoothly and focus primarily on the game. These include, amongst other things, covering the entry fees for ESEA competitions from the second season onwards, as well as covering the costs of participation in selected underground tournaments. The organisation also provides graphic design support, which can be crucial in building the team’s image. In addition, there is basic infrastructure support, such as a Counter-Strike 2 server and a TeamSpeak 3 server, facilitating communication and the organisation of training sessions.
Media support is also set to be a key element of the partnership. Players representing Superion Gaming will be able to feature in interviews and other content published on our platform, providing an additional opportunity to promote the team and build their profile on the scene. At the same time, the organisation has clearly defined its requirements for potential candidates. These include, amongst others, an average ELO rating of at least 2800, experience in team play, regular activity and a professional approach to the project. Everything therefore suggests that Superion Gaming is aiming for an ambitious squad that will be able not only to represent the organisation, but also to develop alongside it in the coming competitive seasons.
Changes at NPK Esports – farewell to the main squad and moves in the academy
Recent weeks have also brought significant changes to the structure of NPK Esports. The organisation has announced the end of its partnership with the existing main squad, which had represented its colours for a long time. For many fans, this may be particularly significant news, as this was the team that, for a certain period, formed the backbone of the NPK project and helped build its reputation on the scene.
The players Hakisz, Monke, p4jter, FNX, Kam1XsO and DeDevill have parted ways with the team; through their collective play, they formed one of the most important line-ups in the organisation’s history. In a published statement, NPK Esports emphasised that this was the team responsible for one of the best eras in the project’s history. The players provided fans with plenty of excitement, played numerous matches and helped the organisation grow over the following months. The organisation thanked them for their commitment, for representing the team’s colours and for their contribution to building NPK’s history. It also noted that their achievements will remain a permanent part of the organisation’s legacy.
Changes have also affected the academy project, which is a key element of the organisation’s long-term development. Player SO_XA has left the academy, and he too was thanked for his time with the team, his commitment and his contribution to the development of the younger squad. At the same time, the statement suggested that further, more positive news regarding the project’s future may emerge in the near future. This may mean that the organisation is already working on new personnel arrangements or preparing to announce further changes that will influence the continued development of NPK Esports on the underground scene.
PEST Esports strengthens its coaching staff – Husarz is the new coach
PEST Esport has also announced an interesting move, deciding to strengthen its coaching staff ahead of upcoming challenges. An official statement announced that Husarz, a player well-known in the community, is joining the team. However, this time we won’t see him playing on the server. Instead, he is embarking on a new phase of his esports career, taking on the role of team coach.
For many observers, this decision should come as no great surprise. For a long time, Husarz has served as the leader guiding his teams during matches. This type of experience often proves invaluable in coaching work, as it requires not only a thorough understanding of the game but also the ability to analyse rounds, devise strategies and manage team communication. The transition from player to coaching staff is therefore a natural step in the further career development of many players.
In its announcement, PEST Esport clearly emphasised that Husarz is a well-known figure on the underground scene. Over the years he has spent in the community, he has built a reputation as a player who has actively participated in numerous team projects. Now, his experience is set to help the team develop further, both tactically and organisationally. The new coach’s tasks will include supporting the team in their match preparations, analysing matches, and helping players build increasingly consistent form on the server.
Lunacy Gaming hires a mental coach
There have also been personnel changes within Lunacy Gaming’s structure, though in this case they concern not the player roster itself, but the support staff. The organisation has announced the addition of a new role to its staff, one that has been gaining increasing importance in the world of esports in recent years. theSMOKEN has joined the team and will serve as a mental coach, providing psychological and motivational support to the players.
As highlighted in the official statement, SMOKEN has been involved with the Counter-Strike scene for many years. His journey with the game began back in the days of Counter-Strike 1.6, long before the era of modern CS2 competitions. Over the course of more than two decades, he has had the opportunity to observe the development of the esports scene, take part in numerous events and gain experience in the LAN tournament environment as well. Such extensive experience in the world of Counter-Strike may prove particularly valuable for players who, in addition to purely mechanical skills, increasingly have to cope with the pressure of competition and the expectations of those around them.
SMOKEN’s role within the team will primarily involve working on the players’ mental preparation for competition. In practice, this involves, amongst other things, building resilience to stress and pressure during matches. It also includes helping players maintain focus at crucial moments during matches and supporting them in staying motivated for training and further development. This type of support is becoming increasingly common in underground teams, where mental preparation is becoming just as important as tactical training or individual player skills. At Lunacy Gaming, they hope that the new staff member’s experience will help the team prepare even better for the challenges ahead.
JeykeS moves to the VoFoxen bench
The final change discussed concerns the VoFoxen team, which, with the season coming to an end, has decided to make an adjustment to its Counter-Strike 2 line-up. The organisation has announced that JeykeS is moving to the bench. This is a player who has long been part of the starting five representing the team’s colours in numerous competitions.
For the team, this decision symbolically marks the end of a certain phase of their activities. JeykeS had been associated with the project for over a year and played a part in rebuilding the organisation’s presence on the scene following its return to competition. During this time, the team gradually built its identity and developed as a collective, gaining further experience in matches against other teams. The player’s presence in the squad for such a long period meant he became one of the recognisable faces of the VoFoxen project.
In an official statement, the organisation thanked JeykeS for his contribution to the team’s development and for all the moments spent together on the server. Both victories and tougher matches, in which the team had to fight for every round, were mentioned. Particular emphasis was also placed on numerous match situations where his effectiveness and the kills he secured helped the team turn the tide of rounds. At the same time, VoFoxen expressed the hope that this is not the definitive end of his adventure and that, in the future, fans will be able to see him back on the server in fine form.
The transfer frenzy is not over yet
Recent days have shown that the underground scene remains incredibly dynamic. New projects, roster changes, coaching staff reinforcements and the disbandment of existing teams are a natural part of the development of organisations seeking the best path to continued competition. In the case of the teams in our partner programme, it is clear that many of them are currently entering a new phase of their activities. Whether this is through building new squads, as with Vandals Clan, or through restructuring, as with NPK Esports or Lunacy Gaming. At the same time, new opportunities are also emerging, as exemplified by the open recruitment drive for Superion Gaming. Everything therefore suggests that the transfer activity on the scene is not over yet. The coming weeks, however, may bring further interesting announcements.
